Apparently, the horrible singing at high volume was something they used to do in choir together, so it's even funnier to them than it is to us! They are such good friends in this, it's so obvious that it's delightful.

Kirstin is a living Disney princess

Mitch singing with Kirstie's face planted in his back is still pretty high on my "funniest things" list. As is the notion of using her hair as a prop at all. Oh, and now you know where my avatar came from.

Mitch being "The queen" in his luscious golden locks totally killed it even while trying to hold in that burst of laughter we all had. Your reaction was hilarious just like those amazingly hilarious and talented goofballs!

When Mitch came out in that blonde wig I started laughing so hard. They're too funny! For more funny laughs, I'd recommend their "Photo booth Challenge" videos. If you want to see some good, serious acting from Mitch and Scott both, watch Superfruit "Deny U," you'll love it! I'm also still keeping my fingers crossed for Superfruit "Goodbye From Lonely!" 😊

Rumor has it that there was a bit of alcohol involved here. 😄 I believe that Mitch will be on Broadway at some point, probably when he gets too old to keep up the tour schedule they like. He has said that the idea is scary to him but I imagine he will get there.

I dunno, once he can't keep up with PTX's tour schedule, keeping up with a Broadway production schedule would be even harder. 8 shows a week is pretty intense. I think that's the reason both Mitch and Scott have said they don't want to do Broadway.

@@gorgarath yeah, I've heard them say that. At one point, Scott said his vocal cords would be in shreds. I wonder about the relative work load on the vocal cords. Right now, they are usually always singing something, even if it is just "ooo" or "ahh". On Broadway, in a traditional musical, there would be no need to do that since the instruments would fill in the space. and a lot of the show would be speaking, not singing. I imagine that the time spent actually singing would be greatly reduced. and there wouldn't be travel time or jet lag.

Kirstin definitely deserves to voice a real Disney princess/heroin. So does Mitch TBH. :D

I think Mitch watched this back, saw how he looked with Kirsten's hair on his shoulders and said "that's a look" thus the mullet.

Even drinking and acting goofy Mitch sings better than I ever will. Glad you enjoyed this one.

Thank you for reacting to THE funniest video on KZread!! The video that proves both Kirstie AND Mitch are real live Disney Princesses! This is what happens when three life-long friends (and self-admitted choir nerds) get together one night in a recording studio with a LOT of wine present! All three have admitted they got totally toasted that night. Apparently the opening take was the only one they got thru completely relatively unscathed and sober. It's quite apparent in the bloopers that this sobriety didn't last long. I have it on fairly good authority that the only reason Mitch cracked up during Let It Go was because Kirstie & Scott got him in a sneak attack with the "confetti snow"...he had no idea it was coming! They've always talked about in interviews how during rehearsals they would always try to crack each other up by singing and/or harmonizing terribly...and we got to see some proof of it in the bloopers...and yet they still somehow sound incredible! I personally am probably responsible for about 500 of this video's views. This is one I ALWAYS come to when I need a good laugh. I would also suggest the Superfruit La-La-Land Medley with these same three. It's not as hysterical as this one, but it definitely has its moments...and probably the most legendary Scomiche moment of all time!

Mitch is hardest to Crack when he's in 'serious singer' mode but the trio are really just a bunch of goofballs (in the best way possible) this looks very early on as well (would have to check the date) so they were very very young.

This was the first Superfruit exposure, way back when, of course I fell in love ❤️. Their voices are so good, when Mitch sings it’s so sad. I knew that you would love this❤️

I think the next biggest Disney princess movie should feature all five of the group members in it. This proves how good at least these 3 are, and I'm sure Matt and Kevin could handle it. I die every time I see Mitch laugh when he's singing. He maintains it well though. I loved your reaction!!!

This is what happens when three friends, all of whom are top-notch singers, get together for a relaxing evening starting with a few glasses of wine. First they decide to go to the studio (so their voices won't keep the neighbors awake) and film themselves singing a _Frozen_ medley. Then they have cocktails between scenes (hey - it *was* supposed to be a relaxing evening, after all). And next thing you know we have one of the funniest things they've ever filmed. And, BTW, does *anyone* know how Scott and Kirstie managed to tear up all that paper without Mitch even noticing?

Them singing off key in the end is how we normal humans sound like during karaoke night.

This reminds me of when I was a kid, and we had about 20 kids on the block where we lived near Detroit between 3 and 12 years old. We would put on these musical plays with rustic stages, just old blankets and sheets, and simple props, like the paper plate here. We would sing and act out well known stories, like The Ugly Duckling or Jack and the Beanstalk, and take turns playing the prince or princess. Our Moms made popcorn and Koolaid, and we charged 2 cents for entry, unless you didn't have it, which was OK, too. These three have known each other since they were 8 or 9, and this just brings it all back.

A full-circle moment of sorts for Kirstin and Mitch who first met as kids while doing community theatre in Arlington, Texas. Mitch and Scott also met while doing community theatre, while Kirstin and Scott met during high school (Mitch was a year behind them). Kirstin was actually study musical theatre at the University of Oklahoma on scholarship when Scott called to recruit her for The Sing-Off in 2011. And of course, we all know that Kirstin was the first of the group to perform on Broadway (in Kinky Boots). Pentatonix actually did a full cover of Let It Go with Kirstin and Mitch sharing the lead vocals. The track is part of their double platinum-selling album That's Christmas To Me (2014). They have verified they were drinking, but I, personally, feel as though their level of inebriation tends to be overstated. There's a video of Mitch attempting to sing Defying Gravity while actually sloshed and... it did not go well. It's one video of him that I haven't revisited multiple times. Oddly, some people can get really hyper and have a lot of fun without being completely drunk off their butts and PTX as a whole sure seem like they can manage just that when together.

Mitch vets so into character I love it!! He is a true professional in all he does, even his bloopers are 99% better than most peoples abilities. Saw them last night live and it was INCREDIBLE! Not a huge Xmas song lover but that didn’t matter. Xmas gift to my mom and my best friend who also love PTX, we all anxiously waited for Mary Did You Know and KO brought the house down with his cello beatboxing!! I could do a whole concert of just him!

I've always been curious as to when this video was originally done. Obviously it was earlier on as they all looked younger. But like you, I have always been amazed at just how wonderful their voices sounded, even though they were just having a good time with it. And Kirstin has been on Broadway, but I think Scott and Mitch would do wonderfully on Broadway as well - especially Mitch. I think I remember you reacted to SuperFruit's "Guy.exe". If you have not, you should react to it. Mitch and Scott both really do some fine acting in it. And another one of SuperFruit that isn't reacted to very much is their "Deny U".
