I know so many people with this exact same sense of humor, and the only difference is they don't have a KZread channel with millions of followers. I'm not trying to shit on Charlie or devalue what he does, but 90% of entertainment is a mix of having the means and being in the right place at the right time. Shit, a radio station near me broadcasts a international comedy morning radio show that millions of people listen to every day. It's so successful the hosts get to take two week vacations for literally every holiday every year. But none of them have more than a couple thousand KZread subscribers despite trying to go viral. Entertainment is 30% Talent 70% luck

@@Mrnoob951 I haven't been able to eat watermelon ever since... *The incident* Let me tell you the story, but be aware, this story has ruined watermelon for me. I bought the melon from the grocery shop, and naturally, I sank my teeth as soon as I was able to. Juice dripped down my chin as I relished every bite, seeds and all. I had heard the old wives tale about swallowing apple seeds could lead to an apple growing inside your belly. But those stories were made up, of course. Entirely false. Right? As I munched away, I should have been worried, but instead, I chuckled at the ridiculousness of it all. But lo and behold, just a few hours later, I began to feel strange sensations in my stomach. It was as if an invisible gardener had taken up residence, tending to a secret nursery inside of me. Gradually, my belly swelled with each passing minute, expanding like a balloon. Panic started to replace my initial amusement, as I realized that the stories may have had some truth to them after all. I stumbled around, desperately trying to figure out a solution. My eyes widened in disbelief as I witnessed the miracle (or should I say, madness?) occurring within my body. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, a tiny little sprout emerged from my belly button. There was indeed a watermelon growing inside me! I thought about removing the plant, but I had... I had become attached to it. I wanted to see it grow. And so I did. And so it grew. It grew for the whole season, before a large watermelon eventually formed. I wanted to continue the family, so I plucked it from it's home. Shortly after, as if it was waiting to be free of it's weight, the plant shrivelled and died, disappearing as quickly as it first appeared. "The Incident" is now a cautionary tale told at family gatherings and backyard barbecues. And as for me? Well, let's just say I'm a bit more cautious about swallowing seeds these days...

One time I got a ginger lemon tea, which I typically enjoy, but it was like being pepper sprayed in the throat and nose with ginger. I would never show that I don’t like a drink or food in front of the person who made it aside from a “not my cup of tea” if they’re asking. But in this case, I was visibly shaken by small sip I took. If you want to see my reaction, go to 16:45. That was pretty much my body’s natural response. Of course I regained my composure, said “no it’s good it just went down the wrong pipe”, walked out, and I haven’t had a sip of ginger lemon tea since:

Marmite is great on toast. You have to use a tiny tiny amount because it's so strong. Anything you might put salted butter on, you can put a miniscule amount of marmite and get a similar result.

In South Africa we do both, tiny tiny amount of marmite on toast with salted butter. The cold creaminess of the butter with the warm rich marmite on the toast is a really nice combo.

Agree! I love Marmite too. A scraping with cheese is lovely. I think a lot of people trying it for the first time don’t realise it’s a condiment- you wouldn’t eat a teaspoon of mustard, vinegar or salt and Marmite is the same.

Hey on the topic of growing Avocados that require less water, I know that things like chicken meat and artificial brains are being lab grown, the chicken is meant to come out kinda soon I think so I honestly think those scientists achieving some alchemy are probably going to be able to make better veg like the avocado too.

The first time I ever had baked kale, my mind was blown. I never knew something so rancid could taste so good. My old room mate use to bake chicken breasts with oil, potatoes, and crushed up tiny kale bits. The kale would get crispy like bacon and seemed to absorbed a lot of the oil and salt. 10/10 meal.

It gets such a good texture when crispy and also doesn't cook up like spinach or lettuces. I throw it in pastas, casseroles, eggs, soups and it retains a nice meaty texture. Also the different varieties of kale taste different. The curly kale you get in stores is really bitter and tough, not good for eating raw, but lacinato kale is light and crispy with a much milder flavor.

Our demand for fresh water will outstrip our supply by 40% in the coming decade. It's an actual concern in the near future. That's not even considering regions that have heavy droughts.

Reports of the amount of water per avocado (or multiply by ~5 for per kilo of avocados). You can find anything from 500 - 3500 liters per kilo as a reported number. It's a lot, 4 times as much as oranges, but it's still less than most nut crops (looking at you, almonds).
