Fiji- no disputes it's good and not just hype. Was excited to see how you felt about Evian... it's no Fiji for sure, very different. Evian is like drinking straight out of crisp snow. Personally I'd give it the A tier but I guess B is not so bad.

I love that Dasani's ingredients state that it technically has two versions of salt in it. Salt is I'm assuming table salt, or salt of the like, and magnesium sulfate which is Epsom salt. Granted, Epsom salt isn't salt, but it has a very similar chemical compound as table salt.

It’s in the parts per million. So if it has 100ppm of Mg and like 300ppm of SO4 it’s around 400ppm of MgSO4 (epsom salt) I have a feeling I’m making a small mistake in the total ppm but it should be around that. It’s not enough to make any significant difference except for preventing it from absorbing minerals from the body like distilled water would.

recently went to disney and even in 96° F heat, i refused to drink a single drop of dasani (especially since there’s no point in drinking it if it’ll just continue to make you thirsty), i could only ever find occasional carts with smart water so i just had to pull through and drink that instead. it was torture.

Ok, I want to, nay, I NEED to tab in here. I've worked as the dedicated stock clerk for the water section of a grocery store, and while working that position: I made it my sworn duty to learn what water is good, bad, and the best. I wanted to have accurate opinions ready to go the moment any customer felt brazen enough to subscribe to the angry newsletter that is my mouth. So here's what I learned: Water falls into 5 categories: Purified, Spring, Mineral, Distilled, and Tap. If you want to make your decision easy as pie, here's how those 5 categories rank: Distilled Now, putting Spring above Mineral may upset some folks, and putting Distilled BELOW Tap may just sound insanely stupid, but here's the facts folks: Distilled water is water that has been robbed of everything that isn't water. This may sound good at first, but it also means taking out vital minerals and bacteria's which our bodies need to survive. There's a category of water called Akaline which I have deemed unworthy of being called water. Why? Because it's not water. You heard me: Anyone who's been drinking those "Akaline 10+!" bottles has NOT been consuming water. Natural water has an akaline score of 7-9. This is also the ideal range for our bodies. Some scientific idiots decided it would be smart to use electrodes, (or something), to alter water into a higher akalinity. Artificially manufacturing 10+ water like this is outright criminal, as it makes the water unhealthy when consumed in sizable amounts, (even our daily gallon). People have spread myths about it "preventing cancer", and preventing is a funny word for something which might actually cause it. Distilled water might as well be treated just as bad. Choosing to drink Distilled is like choose to eat Sand for the rest of your life. You won't be getting the nutrients you need. Tap is worse than Purified, but not by much in terms of taste. Purified has a DISTINCT flavor profile. I can drink ANY bottle water, whether it claims to be Spring, Mineral, or Purified, and I can tell you if it's Purified, Spring, or Mineral. Each of these categories is distinct in profile, and Purified just tastes bad when you compare it. So, what makes Spring better than Mineral? Well, once again, here's the facts: Mineral water is, quite simply, a denser version of Spring water. See, Spring water is called "Spring" because it comes from natural springs. These springs, as you may have guessed, have rocks and minerals lining them. All Spring water has a unique combination of minerals from the Spring it came from. This means EVERY brand of Spring water, (assuming it's not Purified. I won't name which brands sell themselves as Spring when they used Purifiers on their water), has a different taste; so it's worth trying them all to see which particular spring speaks to your taste buds. Mineral Water is that, but more. It comes from springs running deep in the earth. Places where the water is so filtered through minerals in the earth that it takes on a sharper profile. Mineral water is the Carbonated drink of nature, and that's what makes it a popular choice for people wanting to drink healthier. But wait, I said Spring was better. If Mineral water is just a different flavor profile, then how is Spring better? You may have guessed already, but for the reverse reason that Distilled is a bad choice: Too many minerals can be unhealthy. GRANTED: Mineral water will be a HELL of a lot better than soda or sparkling water. You can't even compare carbonated drinks to water. They're just awful. Still, at the end of the day: Spring is the happiest middle ground between Distilled having nothing in it, and Mineral having perhaps too much. Now, my personal preference for the best Spring water you can buy? I haven't watched this video yet, as I didn't want Critical's godlike charisma to sway the truth in an unholy direction, and so without further ado: The absolute best bottled water that I could try from the shelf of my grocery store, (Yes, I tried them all to find the best), iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis: Acqua Panna Seriously, if you're a connoisseur like me, and you haven't tried Acqua Panna: Get on it. My brother-in-law is a fellow Water lover, and every year I get him a bottle of Acqua Panna as a Christmas gift, and he jumps at it every time! (He used to be a Fiji fan, but now he's tasted what the BEST Spring water tastes like :P) Edit: I started Critical's video here, and I saw that he doesn't have Acqua Panna present... Miserable cur!

Had acqua panna served to me at a Brazilian steakhouse in a chilled glass bottle, it was a fine gift

When I was in junior high I actually liked Dasani because it was better then the schools water. I later found out that our schools pipes were lead, and that Dasani was only good when compared to water from lead pipes older then most of the teachers.

@@sugarmackb we had something similar except it was our music room and not the lunch room, and the whole music room was carpeted and the smell got so bad they had to hire someone to do something about it, I’m not sure what as I had graduated by that point, but i think they had to tear it out due to health issues, same with the lead pipes if I recall correctly.

I used to get Fiji water as kind of a treat, just because I always feel a little bad about spending money on water for it's own sake. People look at me like I'm crazy when I say it's hands down the best water when there are so many better reasons to look at me like I'm crazy.

For those who don't know, Poland Springs is the name of the spring that the brand gets their water from. Clean water, lack of taste; that's actual spring water.

Context for the zero people who still care: Poland is a place in Maine. Maine is notorious for naming townships after other random locations around the globe. There's also Belfast, Norway, Paris, Rome, Naples, Sweden, Peru, Mexico, and China, all towns or villages in Maine. Also the population is mainly (heh) french.

The minerals that’s in water needs to be stated. In the nutrients list and the reason why deer park and the rest don’t have it is bc they stripped the water of it’s minerals....

For evian I take it into account that its bottles are perfect size for a "snack size" and its bottle cap size is amazing.

I think Poland Springs might be the water I had at my dad's viewing at the funeral home. I remember it being quite refreshing.

The reason Aquafina makes you thirstier isn't because they add salt, but because ALL the minerals are removed by reverse osmosis. So it draws the minerals and moisture from your mouth making you fell thirstier.

19:00 my school sells Dasani for, 5 dollars like it’s just better going to one of the toilets and swirlying yourself especially since they don’t even cool the Dasani so you spend 5 bucks for a warm spat in water
