Supercross Classics 1987 - Dallas

Спорт

Before Carmichael and McGrath, there were the supercross legends of the past: Bob Hannah, Johnny O'Mara, Mike Bell, David Bailey, Ricky Johnson, Jeff Ward, Ron Lechien, Jeff Stanton and more. Now is your chance to catch a rare glimpse of how, over twenty years ago, these hisotric riders battled on the racetracks of yesterday to pioneer the sport of supercross and turn it into one of the most popular motor sports in the world today.

This was the first supercross I attended in person. Had seats by the triple about 8 rows up. Great view. Went the next year as well and also 2 years at OKC when they had supercross at the fairgrounds. Then it was 15 years before I saw my next one in person at Houston in '03. Saw James Stewart's first win in the premiere class in '05 in Dallas. Anyone care to share any cool races you were at, I would like to hear it.

Never mind “ crowd turns RJ on and he reacts” .... Larry Huffman was wet every weekend commentating getting his rocks off with all that RJ talk.

And 30 years later, the FIM/AMA, (FIM needs deportation from our racing), now build the most boring tracks in SX history. How "progressive".
