Side note: I really love what you said in the description box as it made me laugh (particularly about the therapy and CW paying for it) lol. But yeah I definitely agree w/ everything you said. Yes there's definitely going to be more angst and before we can get to the rainbow at the end of this "rocky road" we have to deal w/ a little rain (actually A LOT of rain). Like every cloud in the sky, there is a silver lining. As Melissa has said about this season..."It's a fight for Lena's soul" and Lena is a lost soul right now. I think it would send a positive message to follow up on the core of this show which is "Hope" and that's what Supergirl stands for. What good is that hope if Kara doesn't believe in Lena's self-worth and gives up on her? Because we know Kara true to character and true to her history w/ Lena, no matter what issues and conflict they had in the past and now, always stood up for Lena and she still believes that there's good in her. Spiritually speaking, Lena is in a dark place and she is a lost soul and it would make for a moving and compelling story for Kara to bring her out of the darkness and back into the light. Hopefully the writers follow through on the message that the show stands for and at the very core of who Kara is instead of a repetitive, contrived and plot-driven trope to pit Supergirl against Lena all for "dramatic purposes" just because they want them to follow a similar path like Superman and Lex.

​@@rtroian83 That's a good question. Honestly I don't know. Of course I hope they do but at this point in the show anything could happen. I will be honest and say I don't really have faith in the writers and producer (mainly JQ) and of course CW but this season is almost entirely centered around Kara and Lena's relationship. It depends on where the writers take their story. I think a lot of Supercorp shippers have hope and believe they'll end up together because of the classic slow burn development, the Clois parallels and the strong romantic undertones and moments between them that screams potential endgame. Their story literally writes itself and when I really think about it...there's really no other romantic suitor for Kara that could be endgame potential aside from Lena. William is relatively new and doesn't serve much purpose other than a potential new love interest or he could be possibly shady. Mon-El isn't on the show anymore and although they have a history, he's married. In the comics Karamel wasn't even a thing as supposedly she was more of a mentor to him whereas on the show the writers changed their dynamic to force a romantic story angle for them (I know it sounds hypocritical of me saying that giving that Supercorp weren't even a thing in the comics but CW has put other pairings from other shows that weren't even canon in the comics either like Olicity and Bughead. I mean if they could put other non-canon ships together due to fan-service, then why not Supercorp?). I didn't buy Karamel as a "great love" story and Mon-El was poorly developed as a character and a controversial one at that. I felt like he didn't serve much purpose other than as Kara's "love interest" (show-wise anyway) but to each his own *shrugs* With him being in the Legion, I think the writers missed the boat w/ his character and could've given him better development and used him properly but instead he was written horribly right off the bat. The only other characters I would've/could've saw as potential endgame for Kara had the writers followed through w/ the comics and for me that made the most sense other than Lena are Jimmy and Brainy but the former left and the writers/show-runners weren't interested in following through w/ Karolsen (which I thought was a major cop-out given their reasons and for me personally as underrated as this opinion is I felt Jimmy was a far better option than Mon-El and treated Kara better but that's jmho). Brainiac 5/Kara were actually a thing in the comics too other than Jimmy/Kara and even ended up together but I think the writers are going in a different direction seeing as Brainy/Nia are together and they became popular w/ the fans (which I think it's great. I mean I do support the idea of Karadox too and wouldn't mind it on the show but I love Dreamdox more). Then again who knows? For me I feel like there's no one else I could see as endgame potential or who could be her "epic, great love" like Lois is for Clark...and the only character that seems the most likely on both accounts given at this stage of the show and that actually makes the most sense is Lena. Of course everyone has their own opinion and I know the anti-shippers are going to strongly disagree and call me delusional but it's just my honest opinion. Then again the show might bring Mon-El back and have Kara end up w/ him, which I hope not but then again you never know and I wouldn't be surprised if they do (given my track record of shipping "doomed pairings or underrated ones" and the predictability of most writers nowadays) as much as I hate the idea.

@R T (cont.) Do I believe Supercorp will be endgame? I honestly don't know but I hope so. Do I believe the writers, show-runners and CW have the courage to go there? No. But then again you never know. So far all of Supercorp's moments especially this season have HEAVY romantic undertones that at this point it's hard to believe it's merely platonic anymore. With all of the Clois parallels, the slow-burn development, the angst, the classic "will they or won't they?" factor and the whole "hero/soulmate" vibe they have...the only question we can ask is: is it queerbait or are they actually planning to make Supercorp endgame? If it's the former, then as disappointing as that would be I wouldn't be surprised just so they can reel in the majority of the audience to get viewership. Even people who don't even watch the show but heard of it ships Supercorp after stumbling across them on Tumblr/Twitter/or watching fan videos (I'm one of them and now I watch the show). If it's the latter, then either they fooled us into believing they had no plans to make Supercorp canon but kept it hush, hush (which I doubt as they seemed against it before S3 even started) or they eventually changed their minds much later on and realized what a goldmine of a story it would be and are deciding to finally go there. Supercorp is the unintended love story that no one saw coming and surely the writers/show-runners weren't planning on them being a HUGE hit w/ the fandom. They intended for Kara to end up w/ a male character (and probably still are thinking of doing that hoping it will pay off successfully) but ironically they never intended for the majority to want Kara (the main character/heroine of the show) w/ Lena (a major female character from the comics) instead of Mon-El (only Karamel shippers want this but then again I could be wrong) or any other male character. They never intended for Kara and Lena to have major chemistry on-screen that seems to be go deeper than mere friendship...obviously much more than Kara had w/ Mon-El (who was the intended love interest). Chemistry is subjective. It's either there or it's not. Fans see it or they don't. Writers could try to force a pairing together but if the chemistry isn't there then what's the point? For me the key elements I look for in a successful fictional romance are: chemistry, story potential and relationship development. If one of those elements aren't there, especially chemistry, then it isn't going to work. If the chemistry IS there, then a writer could do a story for them and once those two elements are there, then they have to properly develop the relationship between the characters organically instead of rushing it, like some writers do. The problem is some writers try to force it. A couple could have TONS of story or lack there of but if there's no chemistry, then again what's the point? Karamel and Lames are good examples of this respectively. And then you have some couples that don't make sense story-wise or are pushed together for the sake of the plot/agenda yet failed miserably, case in point: Lames. For me personally, I didn't see any chemistry between Karamel and most certainly didn't see it between Lames and absolutely don't see it between Kara and William. I saw chemistry between Karolsen but again that's an underrated opinion but still not on the level of Supercorp's chemistry. I see LOADS of chemistry between Supercorp and again it's unintentional but that's all due to Melissa and Katie who have amazing on-screen chemistry. Supercorp have all of the key elements I look for to make a pairing successful: chemistry, story potential and years worth of slow-burn development. The bond between Kara and Lena is strong and undeniable and the way the writers have crafted their relationship, be it unintentional at first, feels more organic. The way the writers have set it up til now...honestly it feels like Supercorp are the true love story even though they're not canon and they have the makings to be one of the most iconic love stories of all-time. Again it all depends on where the writers take their relationship this season and if they, the show-runners and CW have the courage to go there. Sorry for the LONG and lengthy comments. I know I was supposed to answer your question simply but I got carried away and I tend to get VERY deep and passionate when I'm expressing my POV about something. I also wanted to give a well-thought out, honest and meaningful answer on the possibility of whether Supercorp would be endgame or not while weighing out any other options on what the writers have planned. I think I may have went a bit off-topic and overboard but you get the picture lol

You make a good point because people who are passionate about something, especially something that matters, can be a positive thing (whether it's a form of expression through writing, art, editing, or speaking up for a worthy cause/or people in need). THANK YOU SO MUCH ╥﹏╥ You made my day It took me a long time to figure out how to end with a hopeful feeling because the angst in that episode was so heavy and the other past episode as well. Then I remembered what Lena said, it's fate that they met and poetic in a way. Kara and Lena are complex character and at their core, they are very human. Whatever happens in the show, the fandom will always be here

The angst in 5x07 and the past few episodes was heavy so it was nice to see something more hopeful. I thought it was a nice nod to add Lena's words and it's very poetic how they met. Honestly Supergirl is the reason she came to National City in the first place...I mean that says it all. ❤ Yeah I agree with what you said. At their core they are very human and they have a beautiful and complex relationship. Whatever happens, it's true that the fandom will always be here. ❤

😢😭 beautifully done. I hope they are endgame. I tried not to get suck into this fandom ( like Carmen lol) But the Chemistry is intense. Sometimes I'm not sure if it's the actresses themselves or the directors behind the scenes influencing the blushing and "looks". But I hope I'm not delusional and they will be endgame at least at the end of the show 🤞

The chemistry is definitely there, a lot of people outside of the fandom has seen it and said that they see something in Supercorp. How the show ends depends on the network but whatever happens they will always be endgame to us. The fandom has your back ＼(￣O￣)

Sometimes for me this figth looks like a couple figthing. Like"i share everything with you....my body,my soul and my heart and you didnt tell me you are Supergirl?!" I have high hopes for Supercorp endgame We have everything...chemistry; a love song; they sacrifice their lifes for eachother many times... Lena is not stupid. She have to remember everytime Kara risk her life not just in Supergirl persona just to save her. She cant be like Lex. That will be boring and predictable. A Luthor/Super romance and happy ending will be new and so good. Plus LGBTQ ppl will love them. Supercorp is not forced or toxic. You can see their heart eyes and their shining smiles(sorry my englis) My theory is.... Lena is sad for Lex death. Racionally she knew she have to kill him but that was her brother. She is sad and she feels alone. Kara need to listen to her and and give her a big , strong conforting hug

I love them but at this point I've kind of given up hope that they'll happen because I kind of doubt CW would do that. I really want to believe that they'll be together but it just seems like CW is baiting us at this point and that riles me up more than anything else. They put romantic scene music over their scenes together, their interactions are always a little too long to be friendly, and their wording and phrasing is so specific. They can write a good friendship because they have but for some reason they just won't do it with Supercorp even though they don't have plans to put them together. More than anything, I want them to be endgame but I doubt CW will do that. They even specify before or after Supercorp moments that they're just friends by having one of the characters state how close their friendship is or something and that just pisses me off so much. It hurts me that a pretty diverse show like CW would do this but I can't be surprised anymore, honestly. However, that doesn't mean I'm just going to give up on Supergirl or pushing for Supercorp. I'm just really pissed at CW; you don't mess with my people and get away with it.

"Isn't the quantum computer in kryptonian?? Does that mean Lena understands it? Can Kara talk to her in kryptonian?" Um, Kara can fly. Humanoid, w/ no wings (or fart-powered internal jet engine, LOL), jumps into the air and flys. Just a reminder to not ask too many logic-based questions of this show! ;-D

I just want to apologize if I brought anyone's moods down with my lengthy comments regarding whether I think Supercorp would be canon/endgame or not. It wasn't my attention and if I had unwillingly, I sincerely apologize. I was just replying back to @R T and gave my honest opinion but of course I went overboard. If I came across as doubtful it's only because I've been let down by so many shows due to bad/lazy writing, character degression/assassination and favoritism towards a certain character/couple (like Glee, TVD, PLL, GG and especially GoT). Of course I'm not the only one whose experienced that as we've all been there. That being said, as much as I'm trying to keep my expectations low regarding Supercorp and mostly the writing in general regarding Lena's character arc, I don't intend to give up hope. I still believe that things will work out for Kara and Lena and I know Kara will do everything she can to help Lena and protect her, even if it means from herself and her own worst instincts. I believe that as hurt, angry and betrayed Lena feels towards Kara, deep down she still loves her and vice versa. So no matter what happens, I am in it for the long haul. I just want to apologize once again if I seem doubtful and if I brought anyone's moods down with my comments, which is ironic considering my previous comments before regarding "Hope" and being positive. Regardless of what happens, the Supercorp fandom will always be here. You are all inspiring and passionate in your love for Supercorp and I admire that. I may have only been a part of this fandom for five months but I feel like Supercorp has already made such a strong and profound impact on my life. It doesn't matter what people say against Supercorp and everyone has their own interpretation of their relationship, but no matter what I will always root for them. I am proud to be a part of this fandom. It is humbling as it is wonderful. I just want to say once again to @KG that I think you are a talented vidder and I really love your approach w/ this edit of yours as mostly everyone else is doing angsty Supercorp videos after 5x07 (which is fine as they're all amazing and the videos are nothing short of beautiful), so this one is a refreshing change of pace. I have a song suggestion in mind for Supercorp (a hopeful one of course) if that's alright but I'll understand if you have other video projects in waiting if you can't take any more song suggestions. But yeah I just want to say how much I enjoyed your video and I appreciate all the hard work and effort you and other talented vidders like yourself do :)
