SUPERCHARGING MY HOME THEATER SETUP! // I Bought a Trinnov Altitude 16!
Ғылым және технология
I Can't Believe I Bought A Trinnov Altitude 16 for my Home Theater Setup! True "endgame" performance for an average person like me where only two years ago, I never would have dreamed it was possible.
The Trinnov Altitude paired with my Krix MX-10 and surround speakers sounds incredible and extracting maximum performance from my home theater was made possible thanks to this processor. Thank you Michael Cox from @krixdotcom coming up for a couple of days to spend time with me calibrating, demoing and setting up target curves for the ultimate experience in my home theater setup. @TrinnovAudio

Congrats Tony! I wish more products had that atmos viewer, one of the many perks. Even though they are crazy expensive the Trinov does feel worth it since in 10 years you'll still be able to use it and it be modern albeit after an hdmi board upgrade or two.
@BuildMontage
Жыл бұрын
Oh yeah HDMI 2.1, I don't really need it. My Epson TW9300 (6040UB) will be in my setup for a while. I love it, and have no plans to upgrade it, unless I can get a great deal on the 12000B, which may do better with a 2.1 HDMI input... The irony is that this Trinnov is a new one so as they upgrade hardware in rolling production to current chipsets, it should last me forever basically and I can just pay for incremental upgrades. The pure performance of the optimizer alone makes it worth the pricetag.
@HomeCinemaJunkie
Жыл бұрын
@@BuildMontage I concurr, this HDMI 2.1 craze in a receiver/processor is requested by a really small group of gamers. 4k/60hz is plenty, plus as you say for home cinema HDMI 2.1 is way overkill....

Congrats again on obtaining your dream piece of A/V gear Tony! And this is the most interesting and informative video I've seen on the Trinnov, so good work to you and Michael for explaining things so well! Trinnov definitely seems like an amazing product, and I love how the mic knows exactly where each speaker is in the room using triangulation... That's so cool, and should be used by more AVR's! Anyway, for my room I feel putting a Trinnov in it would be like buying a Porsche or Ferrari high performance engine and putting in a Toyota Corolla! Lol! While I know it would still improve the sound in my room, it would be massively disproportionate to the rest of my A/V gear, and wouldn't make sense for my setup.

@BuildMontage
Жыл бұрын
Hi Simon yes I do remember you :) Unfortunately I decided during the making of the video that I wouldn't start sharing all my graphs as yet. I want to try and get a hande on the beast first and my room. It can be a minefield sharing that kind of thing as every room is different and the response in my room will be completely different from yours. My room has well documented challenges which means we had to attack problems in a specific way which may not be relevant to you or your room. Hopefully that makes sense. maybe one day I will but for now, I'm keeping all of those things on the down low till i can come to terms with things :) Needless to say, Michael has my room sounding incredible, all credit to him for that and more with my room!
@simonbrown8719

I understand regarding room response is different and I wouldn’t implement any of your settings. I’m just curious to see how the Trinnov employed it’s filters and the result curve. It did wonders in my room.

@BuildMontage

Yes, Trinnov has incredible bass management. Each subwoofer is handled differently as they are measured separately - similar in a way to what the MINIDSP allows you to do - but it's Trinnov so the optimizer does an insane job of eq'ing the subs.
