Hey I really like your build, I’m building a 16 1/2 foot right now with the same Minijet intake and non-supercharged 1.8 L Yamaha like you have. I was doing some research and talking to a local guy that also has built one and if you look at the oil pan on those engines the main motor mounts are the oil pan it sits on rubber mounts in the JetSki. And then technically you’re only supposed to use those outside mounts to balance and take some load. I’m actually in the process of building my motor mounts right now and I have built the lower mounts that are on the oil pan and will be doing the four outside ones next. If you’re interested I got some pictures. But keep putting the videos up.

Great point, I didn’t think of the center mounts on this, I think with the way they’re setup now with the kawasaki mounts, it should hold pretty well with how thick the mounts are.

Hey there, nice project. I'm building the same but then with a Hayabusa and the same jet pump. Is the yamaha bearing housing (the one you bolt on the intake) the seal for shaft?

Yes, there are a set of glands on the inside that keep the pumpshaft isolated, it also has a zirc for keeping it lubricated.

Have you ever seen the Sabotage Garage minijet boat builds on you tube? Have a look.

I got a question, would it be reasonable to put a motor from a tesla or a e-motorcycle in a mini jet boat. I know it would have the power but would the batterys weigh too much?
