Modified sure it looks better than a stock but I think if you look at modded 370s they can get more of the original Japanese feel and it definitely feels better to drive

My 2004 Touring model, has the same color seats.... I like them. No super charger, but my Z has the same Kinetic Plenum, a cat back dual exhaust, from Amazon. A Jim Wolf intake, with some Mishimoto hoses, Gates Belts. Use an oil separator off the PVC, and a Throttle Controller from Jeg's. Also running on front 245x35x19, rear 275x35x19, with the stock shocks, Has new control arms, bushing, and sway bar links. It sticks... a sick little car on the So Cal mountain roads...

Patrick Killilea the Z cars are true driver sport cars.. rear wheel drive “mid engine” and because of that handle so well! Very satisfy car to drive 🙌 would love to hit the Cali mountains in one of these👌

Great review Ross. I've always had a soft spot for the Z cars, be they the 350Z or the 300ZX before them. The styling was, in my opinion, ahead of it's time. Well done.

@@RossReviewsau .... I had a mate in the military over East with a near new 240Z. Every time he saw a drop in the oil pressure, he'd add oil. I don't know what became of the car, but it was well lubricated : )

@@hammer5104 if you haven’t purchased a car yet, I recommend the g35 or g37. They come with back seats but have the exact same engine and transmission as the z. Great looking cars as well!

18x9.5 10p with a rear 18x11 11p offset.

06-09 350z has 4 cup holders and a revised interior

These cars are amazing , the problem is people have abused them

Exactly the power level I want. I do wish people would give it a rest with the tacky spoilers and rims. Funcional or not. You will not be able to tell much of a difference from increased downforce at high speeds or the little unsprung weight savings. Keep it classy

2 things I hate about my 350Z is no glove box on passenger side and the hatch/trunk brace. Could have just put in a removal bar. or reinforced the floor to give more space.

He's wrong for the trunk, if you remove the spare and there is so much room for groceries hahaha!

my 2006 base 350z does have a cup holder right there behind the shift knob lmao. it only gets in the way when going into reverse or sixth

What do you mean it was the most influencal vehicles from Japan in the last decade? It wasn't manufactured in the last decade?

Once you installed your supercharger did u have to tune it or can you just install it and be fine? Because i have a nisformance tune THats why im wondering if i have to get a specific tune

Are the internals stock? If so how reliable are VQ's on boost with stock internals? Im looking to get a 350z and seen a couple with vortec superchargers. Im tempted but not sure how they hold up

im not sure what was done exactly on the internals as the work was done by the previous owner.. the car felt DAMN good tho! n i know for a fact the car gets daily'd and is still going strong..

Usually on the De's below 400 and Rev up under 450. But tuners are now pushing those numbers to 500 like Admintuning and Jon at Z1.

Does this guy have some sort of Channel or profile on anything that I can follow for his build list? Going forced induction within a month and chose the vortech SC as the candidate

Must be a really safe tune. 340 hp is less than what vortech offers this kit. Out the box they claim 400 hp or 440 for rev up

not much room in the back? i have two tool boxes, dufflebag of clothes, a basketball, 5 quart jug of oil and coolant along with my backpack. i can actually fit two snowboards also if i clear the back area too

ah don't get me wrong if your good at tetris you can get a lot in this car lol.. but compared to a normal car.. there isn't a whole lot of room.. mainly because of the high load floor.. but as you prove if your a good sorter you can pack in quite a bit 🙌

pankakemix41 from my knowledge it’s stock internals.. but the owner did buy this car already done so unfortunately no real way of telling.. but I would imagine they could handle the power this is making

You mean a vq35HR then no, 2008 350z had dual intakes however stillen make the best looking supercharger for HR

@@RossReviewsau Well you're a better man than me, I don't think I could do it...I used to think that the feet were switched too (right for clutch and left for accelerator) but at least those are the same. Plus are the gear in reverse order (first gear on the right and 5th up and to the left?) That would get confusing real quick...

18x9.5F and 18x11r. Tyres should be 235/40 and 275/40 respectively. Can't remember if this guy had BC coilovers or what but I run Blitz Coilovers, rear fenders will need rolling to fit these

So, I wonder if it's worth spending 7K on a supercharger kit for the stated gain. Vortech claims 412HP on the auto. I bought an '06 auto with 66K miles for 7600, but it sat for a while and I've gone through the whole car, looks almost brand new. So while spending 6-7K for a Vortech supercharger kit sounds crazy, it's still cheaper than buying a Supra!....I guess I'm looking for justification HAHA

think it depends on how much you love the car n is your car clean enough or in good enough condition/miles on it.. to do the mod.. i reckon do it if you got a killer Z already and just wana make it faster

@@RossReviewsau The 2003-2006 models I believe are DE, and from 2007-2009 are HR engines. The HR engine produces more HP.

@@RossReviewsau you are driving the vq35DE with a revup on it. So 03 model with the 05 upgrades. Hr is the dual intake motor on 06-08 models.
