7 day update: Cody C guessed it first! Car sold for 15k on the dot. I had it listed for 17k on Facebook marketplace. Not too many bites at first, but one guy offered 15k and took the trip down from Massachusetts to grab it. He loved the car and was very happy with the price.

Worth every penny! Great video!
When I think of the 5.0, this is how I will always remember them. OG.
Nothing sounds better than a pushrod 5.0 with a vortec and Flowmasters! ❤
It's my opinion that this guy should be up there with Vice Grip Garage or Cletus, I mean, maybe not as high as Whistling Diesel but definitely up there!! Thanks for the great content NNKH!
ABsolutely beautiful Fox! Like a time capsule, PERFECT example of a mid 90's, after 1:00am, middle of nowhere type of street racer! I would have LOVED to have something like that to drag race with back then! ...be running with all the "fast" guys. Hell, I'd LOVE to own it right now in '22! lol

My best friend has had a few. One of them his uncle just gave to him had almost $40k into it. The one he kept had about $100k into it. A white 91 GT with a built 331 and a Whipple blower. 582hp and 661 ft/lbs on the dyno. That car was great fun to drive, but it wasn't a race car by any means. Full interior, custom audio and video, etc. For me, the best fox body look was a flat black 93 gt with a 5 lug conversion, a 3" cowl hood, and 18" Chrome Cobra R rims on a slightly lowered stance. Mini tubs are a must if you want any real tire in the back.
Man.. that car was actually really cared for and modded very nicely.. especially for a Pennsylvania car.. very rust free.. just a clean street car.. I'd buy it if you don't..

Amen brother..took me back in all it's glory ...I have a 93 notch I'll never ever sell.still gets me tingly..love my stang .lol
My son had the clone to that car. Warmed over 351W. It was a four cylinder coop. Was so proud of him. Was a tough transformation. He did a great job.
I had an 86 GT with T-tops. Very fun car.
Had a notchback in my 20s. Loads of fun. And super light. Long tube Headers used to burn my legs from inside the car as I had no carpet...great times.
Damn that's awesome! Simple, raw, and straight to the point. Just love those old 90's builds.

Beautiful car great power very rare to see these around
15k is insanity for this car. im sure the guy from ma thought all his birthdays came together . thanks for sharing . you're brill.
Car sold for 15k. ......thank you for all your good videos you put out
That's a beautiful car. Should be capable of mid 11s on a good tire. Looks clean, I probably would've give 15k for it.
Two videos back to back, It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Second comment you put a smile on my face! I was a kid at the time with no dl flowmasters on a old fox body is the best sounding car ever I currently own a supercharged camaro ss and the sound out the pipes will never please the my ears
thats a nice car .. love mustangs .. i had two 85's one four cylinder and one Gt that we put fuel injection . then i had a 96' gt which had that awesome mach 460 sound system in it ...
That's a clean fox body, I would have bought that thing. Those Vortech superchargers are bad ass, my buddy ran one in his first gen Lightning.

Yeah they work good! 20 years ago, had an 89 lx with a completely untouched, stock '99 Explorer long block (gt40p heads), E 303 motorsport cam, bbk shorty headers, magnaflow exhaust, Performer rpm efi manifold, 93 Cobra injectors & ecu, and the thing made 396 RWP and around 410 lb ft with 8 psi and 93 octane. That thing ran good for what it was!! Shoulda opened up the exhaust ports, in hindsight, probably woulda made 420ish.. oh well, it was still fun and I was young!
cant go wrong with a 5.0 mustang love that sound!
I've had fair amount of mustangs. 88 hatch, 86GT, 88notch, 88 hatch...Presently 97 Cobra, I put intercooled Procharger on it, made pretty much same as this car, 440 to the wheels 7psi boost.

Nice collection of mustangs. I’ve had two, an ‘86 SVO and an ‘04 cobra. Someone had done some work on the supercharger and it sat at 475 at the wheels.
Love the sounds of O/R H and 3 chamber Flows.
$12,500. Glad that you were able to get it tuned. Sweet ride.
Are you kidding me!!… buy one like this everyday of the week! Very clean. Love the notches.
Nothing sounds better than a 5 liter running through flowmasters. I also like that u wear a helmet while driving your truck
Love how fast you diagnose and fix things
The 90s were a very legendary era for cars. Some cool cars came out during that time.
1993 to 1998 I built a 5.0 convertible. It went from a 15 sec car to a 10.90 car at 130. In the end I built my only motor. A 347 from an HO block with a SCAT stroker kit, Edelbrock Victor Jr heads and a BlueRacer 1087 cam. Forgot the specs. It had a Vortech S Trim with 2.75" 10 rib pulley. I can see your car has a 3.33 pulley. Mine had a fuel system too. Trans was a Tremec 3550, Centerforce clutch. If you look under your car it probly has a T rex external pump. 2000 I changed hobbys and sold it. If you have issues with that car I can solve them.
Guy down the street had a tricked out 5.0 with all cobra emblems and the works just sitting with flat tires and I suddenly came into some money and had a garage and tools lined up and when I went to see him he'd sold it for fkn pennies. Like 1500 and it only needed a head gasket. Still think about that 5.0.
I am a chevy man and is impressed with the power that block made. Ford should have never discontinued them.

Have to say I really enjoyed this video, even shared it with my dad since it made me feel like a little kid again watching him work on his '91 foxbody. Once I was about 17 or so he let me drive it every once in a while. Not only is that the first car I ever did a powerbrake in, he was in the passenger seat teaching me!! Dad, if you see this when you watch it, I love ya!!
When that car came out I was in high school, I did not come from wealth but the kids that did had these and the 90 convertible. I actually took my drivers license test in a 5 speed 5 liter
It didn't surprise me at all that it sold for that price. I'm so glad I bought my coupe when i did. ✔
I love your will it run and working on older car videos . Your one kewl kat ! Godspeed
Gotta love the sound of a Windsor sbf..
The amount of times I've been in a foxbody that was running and then shut off and then didn't fire back up is astounding. NEVER turn off a foxbody lol
Awesome video. The intro had me cracking up when you went from the badass cutscenes to you wearing a neon green helmet. Nicely done

You had me at "thank God it's a five speed" lmao. Born the same year too
Great channel! Nice car! Had an 86 5.0 with Nitrous. Bought it new basic no air 5-speed $11,000...had it for 14 years. 160,000 hard miles. Sold it to a guy who made it into a race car. He smoked the tires for 50 feet right after he bought it...miss it.
Love the lx and gt of the time = super simple and super cool
Great price. Great street/strip car! Very similar to my 93 Gt I had in 1999, but I had N20 instead of a Vortech and a built AOD with 4.10s.
Love the trunk model !

Fox notches are rare these days...to get one that clean, with supporting mods on it, I'm guessing it brought in a pretty penny. I'd say 18,250.

i did not watch the full vid yet but in my opinion which is my opinion lol. The only stangs that should be bringing in 18-20k are the ones with original good paint with the tags, 50k miles, all stock, and no accidents. I know that's a lot to ask but a lot of these cars have been wrecked and completely rebuilt and people want way too much. I blame barrett jackson. I have a 1990 lx with 90k miles and I would not ask 18 for it but then again I am not selling it because it is worth that much to me haha!
Wow. Very clean. I wish i had this one
Had the exact car but silver. This 5.0 is in better condition than the one I had. Really fun to driven
Cool video love the mustang my buddy Brian God rest his soul he had a 1982 5.0 he had a cam in it the motor was painted and all chromed-out it was silver with a hood scoop had nice craiger rims on it thanks for posting brings back so many memories❤❤❤
Enjoy your vids, good variety and fun, tks fer the entertainment
Really like the notch-backs. I've got an all stock 93 hatch. Just needs paint and some headlamps. Fun cars.
Don't let the Dyno guy get to close to a ledge somewhere 🤣💪 Love the channel!
Thanks for sharing this, i really enjoyed watching this. I have a similar setup without the blower on mine.
Wow, this video is relatable. I've got a Black '88 Lx hatch sitting with a 2004 Inspection tag. Had a fender bender, (was totally drivable) but sat it up because I wasn't driving it like that. Then Live happens... ya'll know the story. Had a 1969 fastback in high school and sold it a few yrs later. Learned not to sell for any reason after that. It's gonna make a comeback....Plan is to turbo the old mule, with what bottom end, is up in the air.

RICHIE SCAN 5.0 POSSE a real black 5.0 5 speed notch back is the most wanted foxbody right now . with a bit more resto over 25k these cars are hot now!!!
Incredible video, knowledge and car, I just got my own foxbody and learned alot, just by watching your process, I'd say 15k which is a deal but it seems about right for the build
That was cool to see and hear!
This is a great car I've always wanted 1 myself, my father had a 5.0 coupe when I was about 10yrs old I went on the hunt for 1 back in 2008 and found a notch in silver they only wanted about £3000 gbp for it, over here in the united kingdom there was very few built for this place and they were steering wheel on the right as we drive on the opposite side to you guys 😁👍

back in my heavy duty street racing days i had a 55 chevy with a LS7 454 ford top loader 4 speed and a 430 detroit locker, the car was almost untouchable onthe street, I got beat 2 times in as many year, one of those times was by a brand new Mustang GT with a paxton supercharger and a 150 notrous shot he got me out o fthe hole and i couldnt catch him, that little car was fasssst! looked just like that car!
Makes me miss my 86 SSP.

Weeeeeeellllllllllllllllll. This is more nostalgic than anything. Over 400 at the tires was stomping it back in the days. Same car with an ls, same centrifugal charger, is gonna be over 500 at the tire. That's just reality.

That is my attainable Dream car, perfect set up, black notchback, 5 speed, with skinnies up front. It would be a $15,000 - $20,000 in Saskatchewan,Canada
That was one heck of a clean find.
Sorry that AWESOME STANG slipped away from you. It was SWEET! I owned 2 ‘65’s and a ‘67’…and loved them. I wish I’d never sold them.😢
thats where I had my air filter in my 1996 T-Bird that had 480hp bored .060 4.6L with the same supercharger, but I kept my inner fenders in it to protect it

Bro, love the video! Several years ago bought identical car for 5k. The guy pulled the new battery and corbue seats, but it was a vortech V2 306. The Great Wall of water 💦 almost did old girl in! Keep on Dreaming 👌 👍👍👍🔔

I've got the 93 model of this car, I gave 15 grand for mine in 2000, the car I got dynos at 550, I love mine if I sold mine I'd have to get 30 grand with all the stuff that's been done to mine.
5:12, the sound of my people...
I’m from Wilkes Barre Pa and I have a 1990 mustang GT that has work done just like that one and watching this my guess was 13000.00 cause I would take no less then 12000.00 so good sale on that. They are a blast and so much fun
The stang was sick!
Had a later model body style Mustang soup’d up a little bit, no turbo or blower, but is was a very fun little car. This black Mustang would be as much, if not more, fun👍🙂
Great vid and great car!
That is a nice solid Mustang. I say it is worth around $12,000.00
Funny to see both tach needles moving--never was a big fan of those monster tachs on a car with one from the factory. just seemed silly. Meanwhile, I'm thinking that aftermarket hood had enough gap to get the MSD wet--shielding or grease might help. Its why I usually trailer a buy home and wash it to get rid of the wasp nests etc.
Nice looking Mustang here.
Ha I never heard of you before today. I’m local to that area. There was a guy named Chris (lansdale area) who had one of the baddest 7up mustangs (probably still has). There was a picture in race pages of him dragging a bumper down the track. Awesome guy.
I hope you bought it. That's a fast little Mustang there.
Man that was a sweet looking and sounding stang
Interesting vid, really like the variety of vids you post up, that camper build was a hoot. Guess the car went for $10,500.00. Have a good one and take care on the board, them cars is too big to tangle with.
I like the looks of the 86 that you had better but this one is also pretty sweet
This is the best content that I follow on KZread, I used to follow that Locking plier garage, but he turned into a wannabe race car driver, has a huge shop and has a TV show now, so Ill stick with Chris
