SUPERBOOTH19: the synth for kids?! - DATO DUO
At SUPERBOOTH we had a short chat with the Dutch company DATO. They got inspired by their children who were facing problems operating normal synthesizers, this brought them to the idea to develop a synth for kids that resulted in the DUO.
But not only for children but also for older people who like to play around with a low-entrance synth can give it a try! It has two sides which can be played, that's also where the name DUO comes from.
After a successful Kickstarter campaign, they launched their product!

We have one and the kids, ages 2 and 4, fight over which side they get to play. Every once in a while I'll yell, "STOP!" when they hit on a really good rhythm and tune then I'll play along on guitar. When they are asleep I get to play with it, running it through loooers and other pedals. Very versatile little sequencer.
Why did you add the background music over it? Can't you hear the dissonance with the sounds coming from the synth? There is atonal music. You know, like some ambient tracks with no consistency in tone. It would go better with this - or you could have the sound of the synth with no backing track.

Dato websites state: All DUOs are hand assembled in our factory in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
