I haven’t wanted to say anything because I thought it might be insensitive, but it’s amazing how far Joel has come with his speaking!!! Absolutely amazing, you’re a hero to many, Joel!😌
I preordered on the first day because this is exactly the type of pedal I’ve been waiting for!

I just love CBA and hadn’t really bought any pedals since the time the Brothers pedal came out…Just got the Condor HiFi and a Reverse Mode C…Living them both!! I went through a lot of pedals years ago, the ones I miss the most are the Spectre and Wombtone, should have held on to them all🥺Looking forward to Onward, I ordered before even checking out the intro, it’s really giving me some ideas the more I learn about it!
Hey I’ve had a stutter my whole life and did speech therapy for years and it got better. I’m glad this guy is going for his dreams and making this great gear
2:25 somebody left the car door open again!
Just when you thought you were out they pull you back in.
Knobs!!! The Legend.....Onward looks like it belongs on my pedalboard....thanks for improving the sound of the world
ONWARD is definitely on my want list
one of the best 10 minutes I spent at Superbooth was playing with this. Such a surprise, I didn't expect to like it as much as I did!
I wish they’d just release a pedal platform and we could update them with their firmwares. They’re too expensive to pick up each one.

A digital multi effects unit with all their digital offering would be pretty insane, but probably less lucrative for them.

With that model they have way less incentive to innovate and develop new things

Would love to hear a drum machine through it

Man so amazing I want it so bad
the pedal guitar is awesome
I feel like Thom Yorke uses this , or something like this , especially for the Eraser !
So, I finally get a Mood 2, and they do this..Sooo, i guess Onward I go.

Oh no! My addiction to CB pedals . . . there should be a 12 step recovery program for this sort of thing. Well, all joking aside (sort of), this really is an interesting concept. I had actually thought about some sort of AI driven sample engine as a concept, but had no idea anyone would actually create a pedal for this (was thinking more along the lines of a DAW plugin), but hey, this is an excellent rendering of the concept in hardware. OK, this one is next on the list . . . Meanwhile, about that CB guitar . . . truly dangerous.
🧐 website says it’s $399 instead of the price written in the description.

knobs talk real good like.
Chase Bliss really have become a walking meme cliche these days, they’re comedy gold :) Incredible business model though, their fan base will buy LITERALLY anything unquestioningly, whether it’s crafted analog wonders or plug-ins in a box. The company will be used as examples in marketing schools across the globe for years to come. Ingenious!

mostly feel the same about CB, but they say their sales are much lower now than a few years ago. guess this shows than you can't really iterate the random-glitch-80s thing forever. so chances are they would have to innovate again, widening their market appeal, otherwise they're stuck in a niche and who knows then. pity they prefer milking it, but maybe something new's being cooked there

"whether it’s crafted analog wonders or plug-ins in a box" is actually a huge complement. best of both worlds! I'm definitely a walking meme cliche. I've owned all of their pedals since WV v1 and they have brought me a lot of joy. I also love supporting good people who foster friendship and collaboration within the pedal community, from Meris, Empress, Old Blood Noise, Drolo, Goodhertz, and their close friends, JHS. All of these are great companies with great products and great innovation. I support them all.

@@smalltown2223 How are they ripping people off? Tell me of another pedal that can do what blooper does, or what habit does, or what lossy does, or what this onward does etc.. Some pedals may have overlap but they are different enough to purchase and the pricing is justified considering that each pedal does several things almost like a multi-effect unit. Chase Bliss are nothing but nice people and always been helpful and kind and down to earth. They are one of the very few that keeps things interesting and trying new things instead of 90% of people that keeps making the same overdrive...

The most annoying people ever, Joel is cool, but the red beard guy was atrocious, SUPER ANNOYING, and the guy who made the pedal couldn't even explain it or make anything musical with it. HARD PASS. Grow up guys.
I wish they would have released a stereo blooper first 🫣 So far it sounds more like a sound design tool - probably the first knobs review video will bring it to musicality and make me buy it 🫠
@yurijogurtsov8710

the stereo Blooper would be nice indeed, but still reiteration of the same thing then. 5 years of bloops and bleeps. wish they finally made something for sound design exactly (it requires more control), and not serving random wonders of lofi glitch time and time again. blooper, mood and now onwards are great basis for that.. it's possible even in pedal format (and I'd gladly pay x2 if it was an instrument proper, in a more hands-on box.)
@elementlab41

@@yurijogurtsov8710 There are other pedal companies who actually make pristine sound design tools with 'more control.' Strymon and Meris come to mind. Each one has its own identity. Love my bleeps and bloops. I hope CB keeps making them.

@@elementlab41 to each their own. I don't find Strymon the best example of what I'm talking about, Meris is closer, but CB could really be the one for both your bleeps and my control if they wanted to. we shall see if market forces them one day..
