And I hope nobody will ever leave this circuit in the long run.

It is a basic rc circuit. Electricity charges the capacitor and brings the mosfet to switch on position than resistors discharges the capacitor than brings mosfet to switch off position. Other than that mosfets are driven to lineer region. Since mosfets are choosen as n channels common anode leds are must be choosen too.

What is it that you two really want to know? Do you guys really not know how field effect transistors operate??? This simple circuit literally uses minimalistic components and is easily understood by just seeing it or reading the schematic... It isn’t like magic is happening right in front of your eyes, it’s a mosfet, electrolytic, and a resistor man... geez

@@sebo0855 ATtiny is small and light, I use ATtiny 85 for voltage control of LiPo. With "PWM" you don´t mean the PWM output of the ATtiny ? But the output of the RC receiver ( throttle channel ) ? That is connected to an digital input of the ATtiny and interpreted with "Pulse In" by the Arduino IDE ? ( 1 ms = min, 2 ms= max, or inverted ? ) ATtiny is about 1 € and works fine, Arduino Nano is about 2 € and it´s programming is easier because it´s programmed via USB. But it´s bigger an heavier. Disadvantage of both: You have to be common with ARDUINO and Arduino IDE. Advantage: Arduino can be used for a lot of electronic taskes, it´s cheap and simple.

Basically all it does is charge up the capacitor, and the speed of charging is dependant on the size of resistor. Once the capacitor is charged to a certain voltage it switches on the fet which turns on the led and starts charging the next capacitor, which charges and switches on the next fet, lighting the next led and so on

MF is different to µF, and to mF, but MFD is an old designation for microfarad (µF). It's still used and accepted because the D distinguishes it from regular SI notations, it doesn't require special characters (uF is technically wrong, it should be a micro symbol µ) and because megafarads doesn't make much sense since it isn't practical.

+Andy Peter - Möglicherweise in Microsoft Windows, aber nicht in z.B. Linux. Unter Linux macht Alt Gr + M überhaupt nichts.

@eggie lol But it's metric.. metric is gonna be the same everywhere in the world... And apart from that, the uF is even on the capacitor he's using... You might be correct, but i highly doubt it :)

He is just a century off :) www.quora.com/What-is-MFD-vs-uF-on-a-capacitor But the rest is still way off. It's not a superb effective controller, it's a expensive way to make a 3 channel synchronous ramp generator Instead of showing really bad soldering technique, what about a circuit to tell about the idea behind this And back to the capacitor. If you have the gear to record and upload to youtube, please take the exstra 5 seconds and find the µ symbol and use it.
