Having studied strumming techniques for 7 years and taught myself guitar, plus I never ever used a pick because it kept digging in. I can honestly say that I learnt the technique in 30 mins from this video. But you do need to be able to hold a chord down in order to keep interest up. Studying theory for 10 years I felt helped, I am self taught from you tube.
