Can't afford it? The big stuff gets pricey but fire crackers and bottle rockets are dirt cheap. 20 dollars worth of the smaller stuff can easily last an entire afternoon, heck even 2 bucks worth of water dynamite kept me busy for hours as a kid. I'm sure it's gone up over the years but it's not very expensive till you want the big stuff. People should probably start small anyways. I suppose you also have to be able to buy it, ideally not out of the back of a truck. I'm guessing the traveling stands can't compete on price or selection, but I don't know for sure because live in a place with actual year round stores.

Just ran across this video. I was born 07/04/1954 and got firecrackers every year for my birthday. Any time we traveled somewhere to visit relatives, they always had surprise fireworks for me. My go-to were actually the original Cherry Bombs which could be bought at Feed-N-Seed stores, for rodent control. Later, M-80’s but they weren’t as powerful

Strange fireworks, indeed. Cody B is still playing with matches and this selection gets a 10 of 10 from me for strange and for interest. I may have to watch it again.

I love the last two; the last one was unique, and I loved the gold in the space one. The lantern one was also amazing, it lasted so long!

Can we take a minute and appreciate this man's professionalism? Doesn't miss a beat...just some hair, glass lens, but never stops narrating. What a pro!

I've had multiple Ladybugs go sideways on me. After 3 or 4 I decided to no longer buy them. Too unpredictable.

Wheelie and optimus explosion was really nicely designed. Nice sounds as well, especially hummers. Jungle jets, Super wave power, looked awesome. One of the best fireworks videos you've done

80's memories with bottle rockets, roman candles, m80s and firecrackers. We fought on the seas, and Earth and sky. We would defend our island...whatever the odds would be...we NEVER surrendered.

Fireworks are so expensive so I've never seen such big ones you can light off. So cool.

The drone launcher is such a cool idea. Would be good even during the day and it probably would keep the kids busy for hours on a recovery mission trying to find them after they land.

3:01 You're supposed to light it like a match, no torch needed. Hold it a few millimeters from the tip and then scrape it across a concrete. One quick swipe is enough to make it go off and it goes down the length slow enough that you have plenty of time to throw before the ember reaches your finger. Used to play with them when i was a kid.

I remember being 14-15 and just spending hours on the firework sights watching the little clips of the different shells

If you’re looking for “bang for your buck”, you can’t go wrong with that lantern. Over three minutes with the flashing at the end? Nice. Also, I’d probably pick the cat Roman candle over the Hummer, a little bit longer of a display, with similar effects. The cat one is a little quieter, but length makes up for it.

Hey guys. Thanks for the kind words. I've tried everything. Even been prescribed special headphones, but it's something to do with the sound/static/vibration etc. It's a really rare condition.

The Hope Lantern looks like a good deal. I like how long it lasts, plus that neat strobe at the end.

Wow that firework at 19:08 is so damn interesting. Would love to see multiple boxes being shot at once.

Absolutely love the stranger fireworks they are usually harder to find. I definitely would love to see more store touring videos in the future to see what stores got in stock!

The only thing missing is the smoke smell. I really enjoyed every one of them.

that lantern looked and sounded exactly like a rewrap of Phantom’s Firecracker Fountain which is one of my family’s favorites

02:30 Thanks for showing those 'sliders' - in 1980 I was in a lesson at school when some kid set one of these fireworks off, as you can imagine it caused quite a disturbance and I always wondered how it was done as no one was seen lighting anything and the culprit was never identified. Now I know what they used, 42 years later!

YES THE LADY BUG! That was our favorite! We thought it just spun around. That’s only half the story 🤣🤣

Great stuff. Two things I'll need to do: Go to a state that sells these things, and get the money to blow on 10 crazy minutes of noise and fire. For now, I'll have to settle on that little box of poppers I bought at Walmart. "SNAP, SNAP!!" "OOOH...... AHHHH!"

Thanks for spending the money and time to show us some really neat fireworks that aren't the easiest to get in states that don't allow them. Even though I'm older now, I've still never lost the giddiness that comes with lighting, running away in joyful panic from and sheer excitement associated with fireworks since I was much younger. It's nice to see a guy my age that hasn't let the world strip him of taking part in something that brings out an innocent glee recapturing nostalgic feelings from our youth. Great upload man.

These were all very unique and fun! My favorites were Sabotage and Justice For All. But I love the lady bugs too. And that Chinese lantern one lasted forever lol. Very nice.

Absolutely, I was totally impressed with the altitude those bugs achieved!

This was one of the coolest assortments ever. If you had just these at your display, you'd be the talk of the town.

That hummer firework was sick.

"It's going to light off the done base!" Yeah that's part of the reason I don't like preliminary up my display. One stray spark and you could have everything going off at once!

Also the “hummer” was a re wrap of “insane traffic” still they are excellent cakes!! On of my favorite weird cakes is called “silent power”

I loved that one. It made really neat sounds & I didn't even need to turn down the volume so it doesn't hurt my ears.

i set off two of those "and justice for all" last year along with a ton of other fireworks. love them so cool.

It rarely happens that I do watch a full video without skipping, but your video has all the elements to keep me engaged till the end.. loved it.

I was thinking the same thing way too close to each other.

Recommendation: You should have a camera set on the ground just in case there is a fountain mixed with an ariel firework and just have a side view for the fountain.

The little sticks are called Sliders. Kids love them and adults to. With Cody on lighting them. Sliding then on the ground and setting them off takes some practice.

my fav to

when i was a kid i took a trip up to washington state and my uncle picked up a bunch of random fireworks and there was one that was a spinner with firecrackers on it. it started out flat and then grew upwards into a chinese style pagoda as it spun around and blasted off its firecrackers with sparklers. i wish i knew what that thing was called.

this guys the 🐐, i dont often celebrate with fireworks but watching these vids has filled that empty firework hole in my life.

We have those prefused cakes in the Netherlands. Its called compound fireworks. There are some rules to it. Max 2 kg of nem. But its pretty nice, saves you the fusing part if you wanna do a show.. Sabotage is produced by Lesli fireworks. Well known brand in the Netherlands and Germany. Got some prefused cakes on my channel, other brand called Broekhoff still very decent!

Loved the Hummer. The jungle jets are a great idea too. Love to see that implemented with parachute fireworks. Got a theme idea for you; best fireworks that aren't loud.

Love how he keeps all his fireworks 1 foot apart. gonna start the celebration early I guess

I actually been looking for the crackling stick since I moved here in the States. We call it Watusi in my country and you can actually strike it on a pavement just like striking a match. The next to the crackling sticks is called Belt of Judas in my country with larger and even longer firecrackers.

@23:11 this one sabotage seems to be from germany as it has a german and dutch instruction on it. its made by lesli fireworks. it costs around 30 euros (35 dollars)

@@asherramaly2083 Yes they do. In my opinion, Shogun is very underrated. I'm old enough to remember when Shogun was under the name of Oriental Fireworks. 🤣 That was way back. Most people don't realize that Shogun makes most of the fountains and other items we use under various brands here. That's why I has glad you noticed the rewrap.

When I was a kid in the 80’s all my uncles sold fireworks illegally. On the 4th we would go upstate NY to my grandparents property (100 acres) and go absolutely wild blowing stuff up. Great memories.

That Sabotage had everything in Dutch on the box i noticed but the brand is Silvesterzauber (part of Lesli fireworks) which is a German brand , so this Sobotage package was for the Dutch/Flemish market (The Netherlands & Belgium)
