Brutally underrated game! So many hours of fun playing this with friends back in the day

The greatest volleyball game ever. I really, really liked this game.

Brings back memories.....had this with World Cup soccer,same cartridge.

I remember playing this as a little kid with my brothers and sisters on the Nintendo Entertainment System with the four player adapter. It came with that on our Nintendo Entertainment System with Super Spike volleyball and Nintendo World Cup on the same cartridge. When Playing Super Spike volleyball as a kid. I would always set the score to 5-point's games. As a little kid I would always play the game like that. Super Spike volleyball can be fun but It can be hard at times. Cool video dude.

The Nintendo Switch really needs to add this to there NES Library

The Aircraft Carrier in the background is CVN 65 - the USS Enterprise. Sadly it was decommissioned back in 2015 and taken apart.

Since Super Spike V'Ball typically used a "Rally Point System" as opposed to the "Side Out System", this game was way ahead of its time. Prior to 2000, Volleyball used the "Side Out System" where only the serving team has an opportunity to score points if they hit the ball goes to the opponent's side and hits the floor or if the opponent gets the ball out of play.

I remember seeing this game advertised in some magazine . Never played it and I don't know why it popped in my head 28 years later . I will say the game looks great I wish I could have played it back when I had a NES.

Incredible. You, like me, learned early in the game that blocking is useless. I always thought I was good at this game, but I've never beat it undefeated. Thanks for the upload!

I've beaten the Navy team before but I never knew there was a special match. Do you have to complete the world cup undefeated to unlock it?

I wish I could find people to play this with. Its impossible to get a good challenge now.
