Man that thing was flying! I picked up my typhon 6s last month and added the kraton 6s hubs, hexes, and 2.8 trenchers making it my ultimate basher. This made me want to put it on the road as well. Great stuff!!

Typhon chassis is INSANELY formidable. My Typhons are my go-tos for blowing away cars, Tesla's, drag cars and motorcycles in the 8th mile! 😂

At last it's out! Been waiting for this. JayTee and Superspeed Saturday never disappoint!

Got a typhon v5 on the stock esc with a hobbywing motor and the thing is stupid fast the thing tries to bunny hop off the line

I’m only getting 60 stock

I have two, well one and a half. Bought it used needs some parts replaced. Going to put a Max 6 and a TP4050 2200kv motor in it and let it rip!

How does the body fit with those tall lipos?

Bought one these last month. Crazy fast but it’s been giving me hell. Changed to the speed pinion and went up and back a few times and for some reason it stopped coasting when I let off the throttle. It would stop abruptly. Took it out the following week. After about 15-20 min the servo stopped working. Had to send it back. Hopefully they fix the issues so I can really enjoy it. For the record I’m a newbie. This is only my 2nd RC. If anyone here with more knowledge has any good advice, I’ll take it. 😓

My less than two week old Traxxas Hoss had an ESC fire that basically totaled it. Wouldn’t you know it happened the same week I got my Kraton 6S? The Hoss got sent back to Traxxas for warranty repair and I was told to basically “drive better” on their message boards. Needless to say, it was shipped back in my Kraton box as I was beyond pissed off by that point. You reach out for support and they just **** on you. They know their product is crap is the kicker. So, from one newbie to the other: Arrma all day, baby!

@@cedricclay3873 Based on what you said, I’m thinking that your gear mesh wasn’t quite right when you put in that speed pinion. If those gears don’t line up....The whole drive train would probably lock up.....which would explain the sudden stop. I’m new too, but there have been gear mesh issues with the new Vorteks that I have seen many a video reference. People have to open them up and check their gear mesh is properly set up. Welcome to the club man. I’m about a month into it so far 😂

Nice bro! Got the same motor but with the Mamba Monster X 8s esc with cap packs external bec etc etc and it is a MONSTER! I can light up all 4 tires at 120mph 😂

@@salvadorrobledo1151 I’m not stuck. 100mph was the goal without spending money on a different motor/esc. I like the telemetry with the smart electronics too. I can hit 100mph a few times in a row before the esc or motor hits 150*F. I just built another center diff with an aluminum case and 300k oil just to gear it back down to 18/46 and run the stock tires a bit.

That car is sick!!!!🤔🤔got me thinking about the that or a Maxx!!!!

Everyone needs a 1/8 buggy. They are amazing.

Is there a way to tell from the box if the buggy is 5th gen? I'd hate to go to the Hobby Shop and buy a previous gen vehicle, thinking it's the newer one. 70+ out of the box for a buggy is just mental!

You can tell by drive shafts

U failed to mention the gearing change you did, stock is around 60 out the box

Did you put the pinion gear that they give you or no ? Please let me know I got mine today

Yes.. 16t is the stock pinion. JT is using the 20t speed pinion that comes with it

use radio or take servo horn off, center on radio trim and place horn back on

You need to Zero out the Gps its Better that way.

🙄There's no need to zero it out. It gets and picks up on the top speed of the moving object.
