The question isn't "can Bayonetta use normal attacks during her Final Smash", it's "can the effects of the Final Smash break the box". It would have been a fair assessment if she were spaced properly so that Gomorrah were capable of reach the box but the normal attacks were not.

I disagree. I don’t think she passes. The explosive crate does not break as a result of pressing the Final Smash button. It only breaks as a result of a normal attack.

props for showing echo fighters simultaneously instead of separately. doesnt waste any time on identical results, but still shows them for people who want to see.

Could it be possible that the Ice Climbers' mountain actually did break the box, but simply blocked the view? Perhaps try doing the Final Smash with the box near the top of the mountain? I dunno. Worth a shot. lol
