Like you were told once before barring when some story beats were adapted, Super Sentai and Power Rangers are completely different shows. The key difference is because Super Sentai is made for a relatively more mature audience than Power Rangers it can get away with more stuff like actual death and violence and showing blood and the like

Go-Busters uses "It's Morphin Time" for their transformation as well as the term Megazords referring to both heroes and villain's giant machines

It reason why fans wanted this series be in power rangers but they first skip it and made dino charger but later years they actually made this series into power ranger making first to go back a sentai instead doing next on the list

The girl ShinkenRed was only around for the last couple of episodes, the main red is still male.

14:47 well i think its because Kyoryuger theme is about brave dinosaur and melody/song, and the red ranger battlizer mode was basic on samba carnival, that's why you can hear the party jingle when they transforming

For female power ranger leaders,we have Pink Time Force,Yellow Wild Force,Red SPD and Red Samurai.3 out of the 4 is based on super sentai with SPD being us original.

There not much of an answer for ya yellow four question but the only thing I can sum up is if ya look closely at her helmet there are 4 marking. Also if ya wondering why you see yellow four morph two times from BIO Man is that the actress(Yuki Yajima)at 2:21 mark was the first original female yellow sentai, or like we said yellow 4, but due to her greediness she was fired from her role after 9 episodes. In episode 10 she was killed off, like literally, but only in the ranger suit. It is in episode 11 we got a new yellow 4(Sumiko Tanaka) who took over the role that you see at 2:36 mark. Hope I didn't confuse ya too much.

Nah you didn't. I appreciate the explanation. I hate when actors and actresses get greedy and ruin it.

When it comes to adapting Super Sentai into Power Rangers they range from: Following the main story for the most part, but add some new twists to them. Like Time Force and Lightspeed Rescue. Taking some pretty big creative liberties with them. Like Lost Galaxy and RPM. And them just mimicking the Sentai season for the most part. Like Samurai, barring a few “lost in translation” moments. A part of me is surprised that you didn’t recognize Go-busters/Beast Morphers and Ninninger/Ninja Steel that much. As they had some pretty neat anniversary episodes. Ninja Steel had an episode where Tommy (MMPR Green) and some other past Rangers return to help the current at the time Ranger team. And Beast Morphers had a multipart anniversary arc where Jason (MMPR Red) made a cameo. And yeah, Go-busters has some neat Power Rangers references. With the giant robots of that Sentai season being referred to as “Zords” and the term “morph” being used.

Cool and yeah its been a while since I've really sat and watched the show. And there were only a few that I religiously followed the series of and they were Galaxy, Space, Dino Thunder, Ninja Storm, and Wildforce. And again I haven't seen them in years lol.

Some have the same story but it become different leter in the story but the big different is the Rita only was 1 season villain and lord zet was an american original so he wasn't in the japanese virsion

Red Shinken (Samurai) female is only temporary in the story, but I don't know with Power Rangers version because I don't watch Power Rangers.

@@bookishnerdygirl allow me to clarify on the female red from Shinkenger since some didn’t know. Kaoru is the true leader of the Shiba house, and Takeru, this season’s actual Red Shinkenger, was acting as her proxy as she had been in hiding to perfect a sealing power meant to seal the Gedoushu away. She comes and assumes the position as leader, but ultimately steps down when the sealing symbol fails, and thus there remains no point in remaining the leader, and since the other members wanted to work with Takeru, she officially adopts him as her son so he can continue serving the Shiba Clan against the Gedoushu.

The story of some seasons of power ranger are similar to super sentai (example: Timeranger and Time Force). There're also direct copy like Samurai is a complete, yet worse copy of Shinkenger.

The reason people don't like PR Samurai is how it was adapted. It's Sentai counterpart Shinkenger was about descendents of samurai coming together to fight evil spirits that had return again. Samurai was basically a direct translation of it and suffered from it. A lot of lines were taken from the Sentai and came out kinda awkward in English. To sum it up, Samurai is kinda like an anime with a bad English dub. At the very least that's how I see it; I had watched Shinkenger when it first aired and loved it. I then watched Samurai when it came out cause I grew up with Power Rangers and wanted to see how they would adapt the Sentai.

@@bookishnerdygirl I wouldn’t say that per say, regarding the original vs dub comparison, since there are slight changes, notably with Samurai they don’t have the kuroko, who serve as housekeepers and set up the “stage” for the Shinkengers transformation, aside from those most of it is a poor 1to 1 to Shinkenger with the description not really conveying the drastic difference between Shinkenger and Samurai. Which can also be said for Megaforce and Super Megaforce, which I believe to be the bottom of the barrel for adaptations, since it’s sticking together Goseiger and Gokaiger, two series which are good on their own and had by far much better plot. And yes that splicing caused some major backlash, likely due to how popular Gokaiger was.

Personally, I see it this way: you start with Power Rangers when young to get into the genre then move on to Super Sentai and/or Kamen Rider for a more serious story (Kamen Rider and Super Sentai sometimes mix with specials/movies). I feel the action and music in Super Sentai/Kemen Rider are much better to get you in the moment. Power Rangers isn't bad though I pretty much stopped after Dino Thunder only taking small glimpses at the current stuff from time to time to see if they have gotten any better. After what they did with Super Mega Force, I don't see the need to return to PR >_>
