I've said this a few times before and perhaps you saw it, or maybe not. I had cash in hand and found this car on marketplace or Craigslist. I blew up the owners phone and when I got in touch with him he said he sold it the day before. Not too long later I saw the purchase video online and knew I missed out on an absolute beast. I also know tho that this car is being shown off so it's being seen. If I owned it KZread wouldn't see it, so cool to be able to watch it progress

Idk why I haven't subscribed cause I've been following this build since the beginning. Absolutely love y'all, as a tech at Mazda that deals with clapped out speeds daily. This brings joy to the heart lol.

Hey, fellow speed 3 (Gen1) owner here. First of all I am a huge fan of the channel. I really like the car too. With that said I'm actually not a fan of the sound....It sounds fantastic at low rpms/idle.....However, at WOT there is a rasp or something that is really taking away from that throaty Mazdaspeed 3 exhaust sound......Not a fan of that, but am a fan of the car. Hope no offense taken. (For all the haters yes his car would whoop my cars ass I'm only putting 400 to the ground so yes....this was not meant to be a hate post)!

Has to be one of the best speed 3s out there. In every aspect this car seems to nail it. Definitely super happy with the looks of the speed 3. There's too many that dont look all that great but this nails it on the head

It’s such a well balanced car and we talked over the winter I explained that this turbo was the move for him to make this car really come to life on a day to day basis not just for top speed in a straight line. He can now enjoy the car from the mid range rpm band as well

Sweet! It's great to see an update on Dom's ride, too. I'm especially excited because the Gen 2 PTE5558 is on my short list, post-build. The only fault I can perceive is it's not CBM X'D

Sounds gnarly. I hope to build one of these once my Protege build is complete!

Just let it ride ! Alignment is a huge part of it as well as a balanced amazing of air pressure in the front tires

Versatuner will fix that launch psi. I hold 16 with -22° on a s3. What kinda timing are you tuning with meth? Tank mix e30 taps out around 18 at 6500.

Nothing to fix . LC rpm on the wot box was way to low to build boost we turned it up days later and it built way more.

That sounds nice. I went with Ultimate Racing and I wasn’t disappointed

03 Ford Focus cast iron manifold. You can find some on eBay and other aftermarket sites. I believe Treadstone made one a while back, I might be wrong. Basically the cheapest manifold ever for the MZR motor. Requires T3/T4 Turbo and a 2 bolt wastegate or a 2 bolt to v band adapter for a tail or PTE wastegate.

Stock head can handle a lot more power than that . Just need valve springs to make it rev out more if you want . Stock cams / valves have gone 800hp

The Nav is stock. It’s a tech package. My 2010 speed 3 has it as well. Would love an engine temp gauge though

@@duramaxdad honestly before it gets too bad just rebuild it man there's so much free information on the internet I learned how to rebuild mine in the matter of a couple of months the only thing I had done was the head gasket surface and the boar everything else I put together and it was my first engine and I hit 27 lb of boost for 2 years straight with no problem until I sold the car
