This game series shows soooo much love to the mecha genre. Even original sounds from the anime, even if it was from the 70s or 80s, are left un-enhanced and sounding monotone and grainy. That's very nostalgic to those older fans of that series.

That moment when a relatively normal beam rifle + fin funnel combo done by a real type robot deals more damage than a team attack between 3 super robots who are using their strongest attacks...

From real robot starting from Gundam and the super robo that paved the way for these amazing games…..glad I am a fan of this game….

Even in video game form the final attack from tenga toppa gurren laggan is incredible

that chou tengen toppa giga drill breaker is the most overkill ive ever seen

Its not much game balance when for ex, Nu Gundam's final attack (which is basically just a finfunnel + beam rifle combo) deals way more damage than most super robots finishing moves (including team attacks). When super robots are generally more powerful than real types.

Zetto Vii a mech with ??????? Health was my pet peeve in the og games.

Not seeing the Unicorn Gundam's Awakened NT-D attack (stronger than the Full Armor version's best attack), the Burglary Dog and it's Assault Combat attack, and the ARX-8 Laevatein and it's Lambda Strike attack. Also not sure why you chose the Blaster Ars Nova and Beserk Unit 01 to highlight and not something from the Shuroga Sin which is playable for about as long.

Unit 01 Awakened is the most suspenful, no one can say its not, and the most "scary"

I like the video, but dislike the watermark in the very center of the screen. Can't win em all I suppose. Maybe next time the watermark in A CORNER?!

The thing that put me off on Z is the map control You only get to see a head and not a mini mech which we got already from alpha Yeah there were more mechs but it is just simply not as good looking Can't wait for the next SRW Hope it's big again and not the tiny 3 games from VTX

Kinda disappointed in Banpresto for using the same engine for 4 years straight. I love the engine, it looks great, however, a lot of the animations are being reused.

I think the other mecha don't need to fight here and let the Dai Gurren Lagann Team do the job I mean the drill is claimed to be very powerful move right (As claimed by the guys in some battle forums that even Dr. Strange or Galactus can't win against STGGL)?
