Final showdown with the STMC. Similar to the final episode of Gunbuster, Z-BLUE has to protect Buster Machine 3 from the STMC until its times for it to do its magic.
After all initial STMC are defeated, the biggest STMC ever shows itself. Advent then shows up and reveals that this large STMC had been trapped in a black hole for thousands of years after the Excelion had previously self-destructed. Not only did it overcome the black hole in size but it also draws its power from said black hole. In other words, this STMC was a product of human kind's actions from 12000 years ago.
Asakim eventually shows up. Looks like he managed to resurrect himself again. Using the power of the 4 spheres which he has collected, Asakim turns his Shurouga into the Shurouga Sin. He then attacks Advent but Blue ends up shielding Advent and dies in the process. Advent and White then leave the area with Asakim deciding to work with Z-BLUE to deal with the large STMC.
A turn later, Lal'C arrives and attempts to destroy the large STMC by ramming it with the Green Earth. Nono summons the Buster Corps and merges with them to form Diebuster. With Diebuster's power, Nono is able to stop Lal'C.
It is at this moment that Beck shows up if you managed to convince him earlier. Using his knowledge obtained from Leonard and Sidereal, reveals to everyone that the Green Earth is actually the same Earth that Noriko and Kazumi protected from the STMC 12000 years ago and that the Gunbuster is the same legendary Buster Machine which saved humanity from the STMC, not some alternate Buster Machine which the Topless were led to believe.
Nono also finally makes the connection that Noriko is the Nonoriri which she has been looking up to all this time. Due to her damaged memories, Nono could not remember Noriko's actual name and thus pronounced it as Nonoriri and based Nonoriri's appearance on Kazumi.
Lal'C eventually loses her Topless abilities and leaves the fighting to Nono. After dealing enough damage to the large STMC, Lal'C returns, having decided to pilot Dix-Neuf manually while also implanting a new engine into Dix-Neuf, revealing it's true form, Buster Machine #19. Nono and Lal'C then unleash the Inazuma Double Kick on the large STMC, further weakening it.
While Z-BLUE are dealing with the large STMC, their other allies in the form of the Battle 7, Vajra, Protodeviln, Hideauze, Spiral Races and former Sidereal generals are helping to keep the other STMC busy.
After the large STMC is defeated, a big dimension quake capable of collapsing space begins to occur after the black hole starts tearing. Thankfully, Nono is able to successfully fix the problem. Turns out that the main reason why Nono protected the Green Earth was because she wanted to protect the message which Jung had prepared for Noriko and Kazumi's return 12000 years later. The message being a huge "Welcome Home".

God damn, 'Aim for the Top' playing as Diebuster kicks ass sounds too perfect.

I was looking forward to those two conversing the entire time I was playing that game. It's just a shame Chambro's animations got shafted so hard in that game.
When the Busters have their Arms crossed akimbo. You know shits gonna go down.
Having never saw Diebuster, my first thought upon seeing that was, "It looks like a giant mutated Elmeth."

Put mazinger Zero and Getter Emperor there as well and I think a black hole would be made from the universe colapsing in on it self and the amout of pure awsome in one location

Well, the Shurouga Sin looks awesome. Too bad after this stage, it most likely will be an enemy. And I love how they're incorporating elements of the Gunbuster anime into this!
11:07 Further hints at a connection between Asakim and Masaki. Masaki got the Akashic Nova in Coffin of the End, and now Asakim has the Genesic Nova.
Okay, before I start to fanboy... poor White. I had a feeling he was gonna end like that, after both Black and Red are gone already. All left is White, and I really have a bad feeling about her. Now, DieBuster!!!! OH MY GOD!!! I loved this!!! I can´t believe they animated Lal´C´s attempt to attack the Big STMC with the Earth... I could have never guessed they would do that. And that Double Inzauma Kick... *sniff* Best stage ever!!!
9:41~9:56 Pretty much Lal'C yelling at Nono to go call Noriko her Onee-sama instead because she don't deserving being call that. Nono then retaliate back saying while she idolize her Nonoriri, she is actually unable to remember what exactly Nonoriri did for her to idolize her other then work hard and have guts. She then tell Lal'C that she is not a replacement for her idol, but she did in fact earn the right to her Onee-sama with her own power. I was so moved when I read that. SRW did it again. Also, I was laughing so hard that they used the elements for the canceled Gunbuster manga and the other Gunbuster manga. That Jung ran for and became President, It was probably her that continued on the buster machine developments as well as created the Welcome Back light show for her friends.

@@allecsgaut8161 I haven't played the Z games so I don't know but there's probably an exuse somewhere also if that fan fic doesn't have a duel betwen Diebuster, Getter Emperor, Mazinger Zero and Super Tenga Topa Guren Lagan you've done something wrong as everybody wants to see that fight

Hello, um ok. Sorry but the summary wasn't enough for me. I need some explanation. I am writing a Super Robot Wars fanfiction that has Diebuster in it so a bit more details would be appreciated, the descriptions have been helpful so far. First off, if Buster Machine 3 was being used to destroy the space monsters, then why was the Earth still converted into a weapon against the big one? Also, what does Nono do to the Black Hole that allows her to survive this time?
And I guess the former Sidereal generals weren't quite as dead as we all thought, if they helped out like that.

Here is lesser known lore between gunbuster and diebuster, like in 2048-2100: Next Generation Light Novel begins here Buster Machine 3 is built. Debate over whether or not to leave the earth begins. Gunbuster Episode 6. The half that want to leave earth do so, and colonize Sirius. Remnants of an alien civilization discovered. The 'Sirius Alliance' is formed and wants freedom from the overall Human Empire. Thanks to the ancient aliens they discovered Energy of the Spiri Sirius Alliance figures out how to weaponize it. They no longer need computers Earth refuses independence as they ran out of resources in the war with the Space Monsters, plans 'violent crackdown'. Earth starts with a tech and numbers advantage, but has no industrial capacity anymore. Presumably, they build Nono here, as the last weapon created on earth with pre-Sirius War tech. Sirius War begins. 2100-2480 Earth is losing war; both sides have undergone a massive tech slide. Jung Freud and the Eltrium Fleet come back the earth Empire tries to order them order them around but they overthrow the Earth Empire and establish a federation. Jung is elected president of Earth shes a called the hero of all humanity. clones of Kazumi Amano, Noriko Takaya, drive the sizzler against Sirius Alliance Ceasefire is called. Accepted. Mission to retrieve the Gunbuster is launched. Fails as humanity can no longer understand the pre-war tech to do so. Jung enters cryo sleep, a mass scramble to recover pre-war tech begins, s War restarts. 2480-14292 Sirius War has stalemated. Earth discovers an old Super-Excelion. Produces Two 'Werutoriumu' class ships based on it. Next Generation Manga begins here. The 'Great Attractor', a being claiming to be God, attacks the Sirius System. Begins drawing in all of the particles in the universe towards it. Jung reawakened, leads fleet consisting of the two Werutoriumus, and Buster Machines 4 and 5, built with pre-war tech, to fight it. Buster Machine 7 is not noted, as she wasn't thought up here. 6 doesn't show up for similar reasons. No one knows because manga and the light novels were canceled. Warp Tech sealed away at some point here Then Diebuster happens
