I bet as a kid I would have loved this. I can see myself setting it up to face my bedroom door with the motion sensor on, keeping it on with my SP's charger plugged in, while I go out for the day and checking to see if my brothers ever went snooping in my room or anything like that lol.

I did this type of thing. But it was even more lame. I was an only child growing up. So all my security and booby trapping was in place for my parents (who never triggered anything)

True, in 2004 phones have cameras. But not the Nintendo DS. The Game Boy and the Game Boy Advance have cameras before the Nintendo DSi. And this for me is amazing !

I'd hardly call that beast of a thing a spy cam lol but still, really interesting. This is the sort of thing I'd have seen and wanted because it brings two of my hobbies together, because dear god.. you might remember cameras on phones back then being "alright" but they were diabolical. I was always carrying a good camera around with me, but also always had my phone and gba, so like.. I'd have maybe thought this could have helped condense things. It's not like I could have watched a youtube review back then lol

Brandon, if you look in the lower left-hand side of the screen you'll see a timer. When you were in the settings I think you enabled the 20 second timer so it was automatically taking pictures the last few minutes of the video. Cheers!

I had one of these as a kid and it was basically my first Digital Camera. Got it for like $10 on clearance at a Target in Australia. Absolutely loved it and took some neat photos, traded it in years back though unfortunately.

I have a sealed battery for the Nintendo DS Lite by Nyco (from 2008/9). Today i will discover if after all this years the battery stil work X-D

It's better than some webcams on high end laptops. Edit: does this have artificial scanlines? Since I don't remember my SP having scanlines, but then again, I don't remember my CRTs having them either. Closest TV I remember having them was our GIANT literally 4ft tall Mitsubishi with the corrugated plastic screen having scanlines.

one of these was for sale at my local used game store for almost 10 years, for $100. I have no idea why they decided that $100 was a good price for this piece of junk. Especially since I first noticed it on the shelf in like... 2005?
