This is brilliant, I love the glow in the dark shell on the pocket! I think I’ve only seen the one for the GBA but this makes me want to do this to one of my Gameboy pockets 😻

I’ve heard a few youtubers say it and I think it’s “off line” as in “off [of an on]line [website].” As to say, I think they just call the internet “line” when the word “off” is before it, as “I bought it off online” sounds clunky going directly from “off” to “on”

I think we definitely have different ideas about what the word "pimp" means. I didn't want to deal with magnifying lenses on my gameboy 25 years ago, I sure as hell wouldn't recommend one today.

It’s funny because when ever I look up backlight gameboy pocket there all frontlight

New subscriber here, great vid, I have had an original DMG from new with official carry case, game genie and the Handy Boy add on but I don't have the joystick and button raising part, these often go missing or break, I prefer using the D pad and original buttons anyway. Keep up the great content Brandon.

I bought a HandyPak about 15 years ago brand new from one of the Pound shops.

that is the exact one i had after using it for years the screen broke everything works but no video so i got the cobalt gameboy advance sp think it was the ags 101

Yes it does blow in the dark and I had a white attachment like the black one you were using with your game boy and I an original game boy

Highly addictive

That's nice I have a Gameboy Pocket as well and a few games or it but all I'm missing is a battery cover for my Game Boy Pocket and I was looking into getting more games and accessories for it do you have any recommendations or can you make a video for it

All I need is a glow in the dark shell, then I could pimp my GameBoy Color out too! I've got a screen light attachment - which I probably can't attach as; 1) I need to solder it, which I do NOT know how to do! 2) It probably makes the screen blurry. *But:* I *DO* have the Interact brand HandyPak Color & PulsePak Color! And both of those attached to the GameBoy Color looks *Freaking* Awesome!!!

I think it's more like a game boy bag now.

This is much like what I want to do with the original GBA I bought. - It's grimey. No battery cover. And I don't even think the store I bought it from was aware for how infrequently the buttons are used, but the select and one bumper button don't work. - But I want to restore it. Clean it up. And replace the shell. Not sure which colors to go with yet though. But it'll save me from adding any more damage to the GBcolor I have, with all the scratches on it from my childhood.

Chris Yu If you have a 3ds, then you can buy them for $10 each on the Nintendo e-shop. If you're looking for the actually carts, you should look at places like ebay. But be real careful for fakes since there are a lot out there. If you have a local gaming shop that sells all types of new/old games, that would be a good place to check too.
