What is the minimum age for kids to ride the mario kart ride?

One thing I've always appreciated about Universal is they really know how to do a queue; they make it entertaining for while you're stuck in a long wait, and they also make it part of the story.

When I worked at WDW at Star Tours, a CM I worked with tried to get into Disney Imagineering to design queues. They wouldn’t give home the chance several times and Universal Creative did. An always wondered if this was his work or helped due to the conversations we have had.

I don't know if I'll explain this right but I wanted to say thank you for the way you filmed this where it was like mimicking a normal visit. It really shows how this land is completely immersive from the view, kinetic energy, games you play, food you eat, Mario Kart ride. It's really incredible to see how this all came together and appears to be very well done. If this is the future of theme parks, then wow it's going to be an amazing future.

I think I’m honestly most excited about the attraction itself but specifically the sets. The queue and sets inside the ride look incredible to be honest.

It is actually shocking that we will now have to include a Universal day on our next trip to Los Angeles. We are a huge Disney family but also a big Mario family. All during the pandemic we played Mario Party as a family to help not think about the crazy world. Glad you all had a great time. Looks fantastic.

My daughter turns 4 in April. She has become obsessed with Mario and Luigi. We just booked a trip to take her to Super Nintendo World. I'm incredibly excited to see her reaction to meeting Mario and Luigi for the first time!

The Florida one is still going to prove your point by being identical but the difference is that it’s the biggest version of the land likely being able to include more things!

I’m loving how they have built the walls so you fully are immersed in the world, no extra outside influence once you go thru the pipes. I’m hoping that once they all open it won’t be too busy and you still get an opportunity to experience all the games and environment without feeling rushed or crowded. This park will be added to my list of places to experience since I’ve been a Nintendo fan since the beginning.

Honestly just experiencing Super Nintendo World is what I’m most excited for. I’m a huge Mario fan so being able to step in this immersive land is gonna be insane!

Amazing to watch both you guys not only filming to share it all with us but genuinely having so much fun while at it! I’m excited for the Mario Kart ride, to collect coins, for all the interactive play, the café, to hug Luigi and high five Mario! Can’t wait!

I've got to eat the food from Toad's Café! It actually looks super appetizing! I'm blown away by the amount of actually talking and moving characters. You can tell they put a lot of work into engineering those experiences.

Im so crazy excited for the Mario Kart ride. It's the first of its kinds (other than Japan) and to see Universal finally using more Practical plus screens and adding AR is completely unique. I think Universal is starting to take over in the theme park world. Thank you for always sharing your more than Ordinary Adventures with us. I am so excited to just experience this in person some day. I am from Kentucky so it might take me two years until I graduate from college to go but, coming from someone who grew up playing Mario cart, Mario Party, and Super Mario World this is honestly a dream come true. So amazing to see your childhood come to life. 💗

Being a massive Nintendo fan for over 30 years, just to experience everything that Super Nintendo World offers in terms of atmosphere and interactivity is what I am most excited about!!!

What I am most excited about is finally being able to see the Mushroom Kingdom in person. I have been keeping track of the news since a Nintendo theme park was announced, so I am super stoked to be able to play Mariokart and interact with the land. Nintendo has been a HUGE part of my childhood, and as a fan of theme parks, it becomes the best of both worlds 😄

Can’t wait to explore the first video game I ever played back on that magical Christmas morning, when my brothers and I tore the wrapping paper off the original NES. I think i’m most excited about seeing my childhood in real life. Was a big nintendo kid growing up with paper mario, mario rpg, double dash, melee, luigi’s mansion, and all the super mario bros games. It’s so nostalgic and i can’t wait to feel like a kid again in this park :)

I’m excited for the grand reveal as you come into Super Nintendo land. That moment, I’m going to be like Kitra and tear up. Years and decades waiting for something like this and just all hit me right then. Just thankful to live in this time with such incredibly themed lands like this and Galaxy’s Edge. ❤️

I hope to visit sometime! I used Super Mario Bros. as an escape as a child from bullying. It was such a comfort to me. Seeing this in real life would bring that comfort back.

What I am most excited about is sharing this experience with my 6 year old daughter! I grew up playing all the super nintendo games, and now with the nintendo switch, I've been able to share the games with my daughter, and she is a huge fan too. I can't wait to take her here once it opens! It's going to be such an amazing experience to have together 😄

I’m soooo excited for Toadstool Cafe. I just love themed food and the little touches with the decor and the Bowser invasion. It feels super immersive every step of the way!

The interactivity, all the references to all the other Mario games, the way that the mascots talk and blink, all the unique food based on the super mario franchise, all of it makes my seven year old self jump with joy. It’s all so amazing, I would do anything to go there in my lifetime, I’ve wanted to see a Mario themed theme park my whole life and it’s finally happened.

The thing about the "ride" is, it's not going to be a ride you can do once and be done with it. You will barely even know how to control everything after the first ride. You are going to need to ride this over and over!! :)

Looove this! I’m so excited for ALL of it! The bands look like so much fun, the ride (we’re on a big Mario Kart kick here right now) and the food!

Going back to one's childhood feeling the nostalgia. Just getting to experience it in real life. What it would feel like to be inside the game. It would be an indescribable feeling. Can wait to experience this with my family!!!!

Ha it’s after the exit to the land

After visiting both Nintendo Worlds in Japan and Hollywood, I feel that both parks are better in their own ways. In Japan, there is a lot more different activities to do, with more variety of different foods that are way better than Hollywood's Toadstool Cafe (Except for the Burgers, Hollywood does them better), and rides like Mario Kart, compared to Hollywood, takes less time to line up for than in Hollywood. If you are lucky, you can get in to Japan's Nintendo World as early as 7:30am in the morning. However, unlike Hollywood, there are some days where you MUST book a Timed Entry Ticket (Virtual Line) in order to get to the park, and sometimes you must go to a specialized kiosk to book them. Meeting mascots (except Toad) is much stricter, due to the fact that unlike Hollywood, you are not allowed to have your phone to take pictures with mascots, you must stand in a specific position when you meet mascots, you must pose how the mascot poses for pictures, and you must pay 6000 yen for pictures.

I’m so excited for the ability to walk through the pipe and feel part of a game that goes always back to my childhood! Watching you grab coins, ride the Mario kart ride, etc was like a journey from NES to SNES to 64 to GameCube. Just epic all around!

I am most excited to just spend time there ! It is so much more interactive than I thought it would be ! The attention to detail and the colors and the sounds is just amazing ! Kudos to Universal. Can’t wait to just enjoy being immersed in the world of Super Mario.

As a kid Super Mario Bros on Super Nintendo was my first game and now I have a nephew with autism and we had a hard time connecting until he saw my super mario collection. Can't wait to take him and experience his reaction.

As a huge disney, universal, and theme parks in general fanatic, and as such a HUGE nintendo fan, I love watching you guys. So many creators feel repetitive to watch but both of you always make the content feel so original while still giving a good look through different places and events! I love it! There’s so much that I’m excited about at Super Nintendo World Hollywood! Nintendo is my childhood. I remember getting the N64 when I was 5 years old! I absolutely cannot wait to ride Mario Kart Bowser challenge to be immersed into something I grew up playing is just an indescribable feeling!!

I’m just so excited to be immersed in the land itself and collect all the coins. It looks so amazing from your video, so I can’t imagine what it actually feels and looks like in person. Someone else already said this too, but Universal really does know how to create a queue and make it so life like as if you’re in the video game itself. I'm most excited for just being in that immersive environment; I think it's amazing when theme parks make a fully "themed" land, especially something like a videogame land. It's not easy or cheap, and it's a great way to escape reality.

I think I'm most excited about all the animatronics honestly.

Super Nintendo World is beautifully executed and the look and feel of the land makes you feel like you’ve been transported in to one of Mario’s video games. It’s not a big land, in fact it can be a bit cramped when its full of people, but the size does bring some advantages. There are layers upon layers of detail, ornaments, and iconography. Colors are bright and fun. Best of all, there’s a ton of kinetic energy. If you’re ever played a Super Mario video game and stood still for a few seconds you’ve probably noticed everything around you continues moving, even when Mario isn’t. The game world feels alive, and Universal’s creative team has perfectly captured this in Super Nintendo World itself. Goombas walk back and forth, piranha plants bob and snap at park visitors, coins float in the air and spin, and platforms move from side to side. All of this is faithfully recreated from the video games and present in Super Nintendo World.

This brings me so much memories and nostalgic I want to cry :,(

It’s like you are inside the Mario world. I love how interactive the the whole park is! ❤ can’t wait to visit with my daughter.🎉

I have to say this world looks amazing!! I live in Florida so I am waiting on East Coast to catch up, but I will say that what I am most excited for is the rumored Zelda area if they end up expanding it with all the room it seems they have.

If UO were smart, and they are, they will spread nintendo over several parks like w Hp - Zelda in lost continent IOA, Pokemon at US.

One thing I love !! The voices are not to loud so since they are repetitive they won't get you overwhelmed listening to it over and over lol. Plus it makes it more intimate when you get closer lol

23:50 There are Ranking Stations where you can scan your wristband to see your team's ranking. The competition element is a super fun way to enhance your experience and makes it feel even more like a video game!

I can't wait to go with my sister! :D I'm most excited about the ride honestly and meeting Mario & Luigi and just immersing myself in the Nintendo World! The little kid in me is screaming! Also, Kitra love love your reactions 100% I was feeling the same way watching you and Peter and I feel every level of excitement you guys feel. :D Thanks so much for what you both do! :D
