The fact that this mode never properly returned in Banana Mania is the only thing about that game I'm personally disappointed in

it wasnt really his whole run, this was done in segments in a sense. it saves at the end of every extra difficulty. so really, this was the 6th stage of that specific run.

@@62049 it is checkpointed. if you watch the livestream which is in the description, he did this in chunks (on multiple streams) because during ultimate it saves your progress after each section (beginner, beginner extra, etc) so he was only 6 stages into that part of the run.

300 stages with No warps, no misses, score of 2470551, time of 1:07:06, 1054 bananas and a completion streak of 300 stages.

Can't believe I'm three months late to the parade, but... This is absolutely SPECTACULAR! This has to be the best and most impactful achievement ever in a Super Monkey Ball game. Congratulations! You should be immensely proud. :)

As a person with Parkinsons (at age 24!) that can’t hold a control stick straight anymore, seeing this game get annihilated is cathartic. This is awesomesauce.

I forgot about the sheer amount of stages in Deluxe. I have no idea how you completed some of these in time. Incredible. This is a fun one to watch!

One of the hardest video game achievements of all time in my opinion. It’s hard to compare, but this is reaching the level of Mario Makers “Trials of Death”

If we're opening up the whole of gaming you get a lot of achievements that you can only really compare if you're good enough to do them all (which no individual likely will ever be) but by my own logic I can't say it's not up there with dark souls no hit marathons or top geometry dash levels

this is why i love this re-release, its just insane how much stages there are in 1

I'll never understand why the SMB1 Space stages used the arctic theme...

From what I heard it had to do with copyright issues. It must’ve been fixed since the original space theme is back in banana mania

As a person who knows almost nothing about the Monkey Ball speedrunning community, I'm guessing that you're probably the first person to pull off a run like this.

This is unbelievable! Great job!!!!

Also I had no idea there was a hidden line at the end if you did Ultimate without dying (Only an Ultimate player like myself could do this without making a mistake). They actually thought of that?!

It would be somewhere around 60-70 I think.

Stamina Master is a nightmare to get in 1 go. Bridge Master in a similar sense. Unreal achievement dude.

I have played ultimate monkey ball many many hours back in the day a few years ago i baught it again. Man you are good! You have showen me a few tricks and new ways to do some levels. Many we do the same, a few maby 5 or 6 levels i do faster, but you would beat me overal with the time and points. I never completed ultimate extra with the real thin upward and then downward slope and the green corkscrew after that, you do it in 1 try, wow. I did get past that level a few times but never completed all the levels. You use the pause buttojnto correct i never knew that👍

Glad you enjoyed it! I tried to use strategies that were quick but could still do in 1 try. Getting to those later stages is no easy feat, good luck to you if you give it another try!

You can unlock it by completing beginner, advanced, & expert (excluding the extra/master stages)

Why is the ps2 version of this so terrible in comparison... This should've gotten a PC version. Anyways this was so satisfying all the way through. Would've been even more satisfying with the ball rolling sound but they cut it. But still, this has probably taken dozens upon dozens of hours of practice on every single level

You only need to complete the regular beginner, advanced, and expert stages.

@@callinater6133 well it wasn't the case of the mod I was playing as ultimate mode replaces the master mode, so I had to play through the master stages to unlock it.

You can just roll through easily, but it only works on this version of the level (inside the whale).
