First time watching! Great editing, very well done. My GS 1200 R sits in my shed rotting away as I speak. I need to get it going again!

I love my new re650 for its power, smoothness and looks but my two year old re350 classic has the plush comfortable ride of a Honda goldwing, love the video, I am 76 years old.

Still a spring chicken George. I just wish I could make my 650 as comfortable as your Classic. I'm still trying. Thanks for watching 🙏

Excellent! I’m 75 and just bought a new Interceptor 650 a few weeks ago. I spent some time and money to change it to a Scrambler. Because of the standard seating position with the pegs directly under me my legs help with the suspension. If I see a big bump coming I can stand on the pegs. For navigation I use a Garmin Zumo XT, it’s never failed me. Keep up the good work.

My 650 Super Meteor runs fine at 70mph on British motorways, even in windy conditions. But on country roads that are badly cut up and filled with potholes I'm often bounced out of my seat and the rear shocks often bottom out. There was little improvement going up two notches so I'm thinking of replacing them. Regarding the tripper, mine worked fine going from Hertfordshire to Clacton on Sea on a route I haven't traveled before. An enjoyable vid to watch! Safe cruising sir...

Most of the roads here in Thailand are uneven and full of potholes, which is why I'm so critical on the rear suspension. Especially after this maiden voyage. I have since upgraded the shocks, and find the ride better, but not perfect. The Tripper has revived a while new update since I filmed this 8 months. So I'm looking forward to making a video on it. I prefer the tripper than mounting my phone in the blistering sun here in Thailand. Thanks for watching. Ride safe 🙏

Enjoy your video, like always. It may not be tripper problem...it could be your phone map app went to sleep. Set the app to never sleep at the battery setting.

Yes it's certainly the phone, more than the Tripper. Power savings or something. Getting a new phone soon. And will test 🙏

I had a loads of problems with Royal Enfield TRIPPER both on my iPhone and Android. Royal Enfield Tripper SUCKS! I’ts a gimmick! And my Royal Enfield Meteor 350 single cylinder “Thumper” gave me WryNeck/Stiff Neck. 40,000 km all over Thailand 🇹🇭 Those nasty vibrations! Indian Made Motorcycles? No thanks! Today I am riding Japanese. KAWASAKI Vulcan 650 S. Built in Thailand. Did you know that BMW Motorrad, DUCATI, Harley-Davidson and Triumph also have factories on the Eastern Seaboard of Thailand. Johnny BikeSanooK! The septuagenarian “KAWA” rider.

An air cushion is a better bet than a gel pad for comfort. New shock absorbers shouldn't be too expensive and will make the world of difference.

Didn’t fit the gel in the end. Just cut slots in the foam (my own air cushion). And yes changed the rear shocks. Much better. But still lacking the comfort I want. Still looking for new ideas 🙏

Great video Trev. Ive got to get overseas for one of those bike shows, we dont get anything of that scale in Oz. I bet you wish you changed those rear shocks earlier, I know i persisted too long before fitting YSS. Do you still have any regrets about buying the SM?

The Bangkok motor show is well worth a visit. Love.y models of every kind. 😂. I gave the original shocks 6 months, but no change.. The bike is better now since I changed them, but still not perfect comfort wise compared to other bikes I have ridden lately. So yes some regrets. But for the money paid compared to other bikes it’s the best I could get. How do you find the YSS and how much did you pay for them?

@Teacher-T-Thailand yeah I also persevered with stock shocks too long. The yss make it a much more comfortable ride, that crash hitting bumps is gone and I'm not getting sore as quickly. Hours riding with no discomfort at all, unlike my 7 hour trip in January. I paid $1450 aussie bucks for them, but we'll worth it for me. Gotta fit my belt drive this week before she goes in for the 865 kit. Looking forward to that upgrade.

No idea what's going on - didn't you fit Hagons? (And didn't you cover a ride to Bangkok before?)

  • @Teacher-T-Thailand

Yes. I fitted Hagons. And this was a remake and joining of 3 first videos I made. The first 2 were with a bad microphone, and the 3rd one very low views, even though I thought it was the best. So remixed it for my new subscribers. You have obviously been with me since the early days, and thanks for that 😂🙏
