the worst part is that we have a lot of REtaRd5s shitting on SH because they think is a competitor to Resident Evil, which was never a thing, one is action movie biological disaster like thriller, the other is more like a deep psychological horror book with deep lore and character development with supernatural otherworldly powers involved, not even a comparison, like comparing a Terminator Film to The Conjuring xDDDDD, Also a lot of dummies saying he looks like Leon, when James is the original holder of that specific aesthetic, Leon from before had a completely different look and hairstyle, the new Leon from RE 2 remake actually took a closer approach on James look, not the other way around, I like both franchises, but man these people are a joke.

This game franchise relates so much to my dark past. It all started when I was 10 years old, my mom was murdered by drug dealers. She herself never did drugs. All she wanted to do was protect us. I ended up living in a small RV with my dad and younger sister with Asperger syndrome. We were headed out of state to California. We ended up in a junk yard living near my dads friend, Chuck. Chuck had a trailer twice the size of ours. One night changed my life forever. I sat down on carpet, the stained with cigarette smell one. There was a PlayStation 1 sitting in front of me and Silent Hill 1 sitting on the little TV stand in front of me. I was in Chucks trailer at night, alone inside. I placed the game into the console. I remember the first 10 minutes of the darkened world of Silent Hill and the opening sound of Akira Yamaokas plbeautoful orchestrated music playing as Harry, and Cheryl riding as passenger, took a sharp turn into the dark. I will never forget this experience. Silent Hill 2 was the same feeling. I cannot wait for this game to come out. I absolutely cried watching it as these characters relate in some way to my dark past and struggles I went through.
