It's funny you mentioned Kwame. I was working downtown Detroit around the time all that was going down. I used to see his co-defendant Bobby Ferguson almost everyday and converse with him. What a lot of people who's not from Detroit don't know is around that time the Wayne County Executives was getting investigated too. I worked security in the building they was out of. The few that did get time, only got a slap on the wrists. For one they were white or white passing. Secondly, they at least tried to bury their bones. The corrupt politicians of our communities just openly does dirt. We CANNOT do what those people do, the consequences will always be more dire.
