I used to play this like 12 hours a day and sometimes I just did free mode and not even do the mission that how much I adored this game! CLASSIC FUCKING GAME FAB EVER

Remember when Petey piranha was Nintendo's Rosalina? I really miss those days, he was fun, Nintendo did forget about him after Mario galaxy 2 and Rosalina did take his place in spinoff games, well at least he will appear in paper jam.

I remember when I was young and just got to the Flying Petey part, My inner clean freak came out and I cleaned EVERY LITTLE PART OF THE LEVEL.

Definitely. I didn’t play this game but I did watch play-throughs of it a lot and I always skipped that darn Eel level. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s where my Thalassophobia originated.

This game was sooooooo good! I dont understand why Nintendo didn't make another one like this!

Man, when I was a kid that phantom manta ray scared me SO much when you see it coming over the ocean. The noises it makes... Oh my god, I hate it to this day haha. I also never realised until now that you could use the ocean as a 'safe zone'. I legit just stayed on top of one of the palm trees. I thought this boss fight was impossible because I'm an idiot hahaha!

Most of this game bosses were so friggin scary espiecally The Eel with cavities

For the giant eel boos, you can also pop the purple balls coming from it's eyes to replenish your entire air supply.

Why does no one ever think to use the regular spray nozzle while running? I see that all the time when I see people play this game.

Is it me or did the multicolored goop (specifically the brown and white colored goop) remind anyone else of chocolate when this game first came out?

They really made the boos look so weird in this game. So glad they didn't stay like that for good.

I remember hopping onto my game cube when I get home, playing this game And getting annoyed at if I remember correctly, some falling sand level, where you have to reach a castle Or a spinning platform level too
