The best thing are old grathics Because Mario's new sprites are bigger than his hitbox, old have the same issue too, but little new mario is REALLY big

@@pgj1997 They added palette swapping for the Super Star effect in Classic mode whereas in the original Mario just flashed in and out of existence during it. I do agree that a palette swap for Super Ball Mario in Classic mode would have been nice.

well the reason was that I wanted to do three different runs, I didn't want to do them the same, in the case of luigi I wanted to do it without using the Super Ball.

Why are the fire flowers blue? Weird choice. It also drives me nuts that the extra lives are one up mushrooms instead of hearts. Otherwise, this is really cool!

For starters, the item isn't a Fire Flower, but rather a Super Ball Flower. The item was based off a popular toy with the same name and Nintendo just decided that Mario would use a rubber ball in this game. Since the original Super Mario Land had mainly 2 colors to work with (black or green with white), I guess the creator of this decided to reference the old Fire Flower design from Super Mario 3 (blue flower that made Mario orange and red).

What's with the sound emulation? The powerup rising sound is really bad.

What is your emulator? Because on visualboy or oldboy (android) crashes whe you beat the game (in the credits).

Yes, in that game I used visual boy, and no, it never failed me even though now I use the core (TGB Dual) in retroarch.

I solved my issue xD I had patched a bad rom translated into spanish (my mother languaje) jajajaj, so I downloaded the same copy that the creator of this hack said. Fortunaly the save data worked with the new version and now I can see the credits correctly :)
