We Would Like To Play

I really didn't think I'd like the online aspect. I mean having other people in my level but it's not intrusive at all and there's something so charming and fun about helping others through a level. I can't believe how much fun it really is!

I mean if you played Dark Souls online, it's basically the shades from their but for a platformer. Which imo should get implement into more games. It's a cool feature.

Been playing this game for the past 5 hours and this is by far the best 2D Mario platformer in my opinion, it embodies all the great features from the best Mario bros games and still brings so much more to the table, and I’m only up to world 2 (and the special world)!!! Finished it, really fun, you can really tell a lot of effort went into each and every level

This whole year we've been eating really good. To try & list some of the great games we've gotten this year: -Metroid Prime: Remastered -Kirby Return to Dreamland Deluxe -Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom -Super Mario Movie -Super Mario Bros. Wonder -Super Mario RPG Remake -Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door Remake/Remaster announced -Princess Peach: Showtime! announced -Luigi's Mansion 2 HD announced -WarioWare: Move It! Then there's all the stuff from other developers too: -Sonic Superstars -Mortal Kombat 1 -Marvel's Spider-Man 2 -Super Bomberman R2 -Samba De Amigo: Party Central -Gran Turismo Movie We got treated really nice this year, hopefully this leads into the coming years!

Shout out to Kevin Afghani. He now voices both Mario and Luigi starting with this game.

Thank You Nintendo for finally making a completely new proper 2D Mario. I have been waiting one a very long time after so many years of ports and even before that the reusage of content in New Super Mario Bros. 2 and New Super Mario Bros. U always left something to be desired. But now it's finally here. A brand new proper 2D Mario that looks wonderful and well worth the wait.

this game is a love letter to the switch era and classic 2d mario. i played a bit before work and i havent felt that amount of pure joy in a minute. good stuff guys

Got the game on the release, and wow its better than i expected. I beat the game and i was sad to go untill i realized i just began.

Alright, so far I have played 50 minutes of this game, and I have to say this: IT'S AMAZING! This has to be the best 2D Mario game ever. And one of the best Mario games ever.

It's soooo good, it's been a while since I enjoyed a 2D platformer as much as this one. I couldn't stop playing this great game until I 100% it (yeah, some people say that I play games too fast).

I'm over 50 and I am buying a switch plus this game. I grew up on Sinclair Spectrum 48k, Sega MegaDrive, Atari 2600, Wii, Xbox but I never had Nintendo. My time has arrived!

Honestly I'm so glad for "little brother" mode with the Yoshis and Nabbit. If I had little sisters and brothers I'd play this game with them so much!

in 2017 we had Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey in Spring and Fall, and now in 2023 we got Tears of the Kingdom and Super Mario Bros. Wonder in the Spring and Fall. what a time to be a Nintendo player!

Mario, Metroid, Advance Wars, Pikmin, Xenoblade, Zelda ... Pretty much everyone's been eating this year

I just can't get enough of this video game. Best of all, there is no timer.

I haven’t played the whole game through yet but, there are so many delightful things to experience in this game as a Mario bros fan. Noticing the change in stance of your character, when holding run, ducking with the high jump badge, and blowing bubbles. koopa troopas determined expressions when facing down a projectile. Running into sleeping goombas. It’s all “catnip” then you have the levels. While I think other Mario’s may have harder stages. This game gives a mix bag delivering what feels like a custom experience. The music does not feel like your standard island Mario music. There are stand out tracks that will go in the playlist no doubt but 3d Mario still has my ear. I don’t have all the badges but these are totally fun. I like jumping on beat. Shout out to ray man. I do kind of wish some of the badges were standard in the move set. Like the duck jump, another personal favorite.

Played a couple of hours this morning while kids are at school, and it’s fantastic. Don’t know why I thought it wouldn’t be, mario never misses

For anyone looking in to buying this game, please buy it, it’s so much fun, the multiplayer makes it even more fun, it makes it feel so more lively and chaotic, the puzzles, the wonder effects. It’s a perfect game, the only down side I’d give it is the final boss battle was a little too easy.

Just got my copy today and can I just say WOW. Props to the creators because this game is fantastic! So much life and energy breathed into the slightest of movements and what used to be droning and repetitive levels. Each level is packed with excitement and (haha funny name) wonder! It's such a breath of fresh air and a step aside from a monotonous formula. Absolutely phenomenal, Nintendo!
