Half of the clips I couldn't even make out the dang background music because of the amount of gameplay sounds happening on top of it. Please if you make a video about the music comparison, please make sure people can hear the music first and foremost thank you.

I love that the bonus levels reference the older games by using their music.

I think it makes sense, this takes place after all the times Mario and friends rescued Peach.

4:02 would be a reference to mario galaxy 1 & 2 in the shadow mario challenges, I guess it's like a triple reference.

The overalls the main character wears in SMB Wonder are a reference to the character Mario, from Super Mario Bros (1985) who also wears overalls

There’s a wonder seed level where stats fall all around you and I believe it is a reference to Mario Land and the 6 Golden Coins space level? Could be worth looking into but that game is really old so idk

How is the castle pipe music compared to 2/ one? It’s mostly compared to cosmic Mario race from super Mario galaxy

They missed the opportunity for a mario galaxy reference with the cosmic hippo level 😑

The left hand/lower note chord harmony of the "snow" theme is the same as the start of Mario Kart 64's Rainbow Road theme.

Personally, I don’t think the underground theme should count as a reference since it’s in pretty much every mainline Mario game besides SMW and Mario Land (it’s even in the files of Mario 2)
