This was so relaxing to hear as a kid......I had dreams where I heard this song in the background.

That giant Eel in Jolly Roger Bay is way more hideous than all of the Boo Ghosts combined!

Back when I was younger I was honestly terrified by the eel and it made me a tad more hesitant to even play jolly roger bay. I am eternally grateful I get to have this feeling of nostalgia

God damn... Super Mario 64 is 20 years old? Maybe it's the unGodly amount of rum I'm drinking this afternoon/evening, but that kinda hurts. Father time, you're one HELL of an old man... slow down....

The music sounds much better this way with the second rhythm added to it, it makes me think of a lot of good things!

I wrote this 3 years ago, I’m sorry but I do not remember anymore.

S2G I wasn't even in a nostalgic mood when this showed up on my dashboard, i jsut thought "Oh this'll be some nice chill music while I'm working" yet barely a minute in the waterworks started. I don't know how I'm even gonna handle the 3D all star pack when i get it

i used to get confused on which level was jrb and ddd, all thanks to them being both underwater levels with this same theme.

...This really brings back SO many memories...

AWESOME...I spend many hours in this phase just for listen this music.....

For those of you that love this song as much as I do, you should look up Csguitar89's version of this, he's a beast at game music (mainly Zelda) but he does this song justice.

What memory I have with this game is when I went to this kids birthday party and they played this game. Everyone was a jerk to me and never gave me a turn, the mother didn't even thank us for coming. Assholes. At least it taught me how to beat some of the levels

@TheADude213 Nope, the Super Mario 64 OST has this song at a faster tempo, as does the game itself. It's only slightly slower though, not a big deal.

...but the levels are absolute hell.

For some reason this got me so triggered when I was a kid and to this day it still get's me triggered.

Then the drowning theme from Sonic 1 pops up from nowhere and scares the living sh*t outta everybody.

I cant believe I hated levels like this as a child such stupidness ( i know it isn't a word) with me it had such great music

The OST version is different from the game. In the game, some music is "dynamic", meaning those different variations switch between places. This variation plays underwater.
