Amazing, I bought a Raynox and can't wait for it to arrive. I have a Sony HX400V. The Sony has less zoom, but the manual focus is incredibly easy because it works like a DSLR lens.

Great video. I have the Canon powershot 540 with the 50x power zoom. It blows away the other DSLR cameras that I have used. Its zoom is amazing and it works great. I got it for $300. It’s a top notch camera for me. The Nikon B700 camera is junk. Thanks Canon for a great camera. ❤❤❤

Awesome close up! Also wanted to let you know that that is an Opiliones arachnid and those are mites on the legs that are feeding on the harvestman's hemolymph (blood).

I also have a Canon SX60 with the macro lens but when I half press the button to take a photo it reverts back to a small screen? Do I need to change another setting before manually changing the focus?

When I half hold the sutter button I do not get the same picture that you get my screen goes back to minitaure?

Forgive my ignorance, but I'm new at this. How do I get the manual focus on my screen as you have in the left of your screen?

Hi thanks v.much for the informative video! I have this Canon SX60 as well but have been unable to blur the backgrounds when taking portraits (due to its high aperture limit). Would you recommend buying the Macro lens for taking outdoor portraits?

I have a S X 60 for at least 3 years. Not a new camera by no means but you can do allot with them. Don’t many that close bu fun .

They all have good things and bad things about them, but with the PowerShot you can attach the Raynox macro lens and do macro video and photo using a $50 lens, I'm not sure if the lens fits on the others, but simply using the zoom that the camera has might not be enough, a lens is needed to get really close.

why do you add a macro lens? Can you not just use the camera as is??? I bought the camera for taking macro i don't want to go now & buy a lens.

Just wanted to let you know the DCR-150 fit fine on my old Sx30IS but no way will it clip on my SX60HS

J Herrera Hey man, go the lowest aperture setting on your lens, aperture is what makes the background blurry, the lowest the number the blurrier it will be.
