SUPER EASY! - Hydroponics Nutrient Solution Preparation & Adjusting EC and pH

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In this video, I am gonna be explaining how to prepare a two part stock solution from GardenGuru's 500L Pack(Bloom).
Hydroponics nutrients come in multipart. Usually two parts but it can be 3 or even more. You will be able to underst and the following in this video
1. How to prepare a Hydroponics nutrient solution concentrate.
2. How to prepare the final nutrient solution from the concentrate.
3. How to Adjust the EC (Electrical conductivity) of the solution in the reservoir.
4. How to adjust the pH of the nutrient reservoir.
In this video, I used a ready made hydroponics nutrients from www.gardenguru.in
We are using phosphoric acid to reduce the ph in this video.
Similar procedure can be followed for hydroponic nutrients bought from online gardening store www.gardenguru.in

    Wow, the best explanation I have ever come across with. Most people will just focus on TDS/PPM but since EC is like universal, it make sense to use it instead. pH adjustment is also great. Kudos sir.

Usually when I use PH Stabilisers , my EC is also tampered, for instance, I prepared my hydroponic solution nutrient to about 400 PPM before I transplanted my lettuce, the PH was about 6.7, when I added phosphoric acid(10% dilution ) to bring down the PH, my TDS shooted to 1100ppm, could you please elaborate on this? • @TheGeekgardener

    @TheGeekgardener

    3 жыл бұрын

    Thanks. pH correction happens by adding an Acid or a base, which essentially will dissociate into ions. If the addition of pH down /up is marginal then its usually not an issue. But if you have to add considerably large amount of it that it affects the balance of the elements in the fertilizers then lot of consideration has to be given to the water quality, type of pH down/up used, nutrient recipe used. We do a thorough study and remedial measure on all the farms we setup.
