I will always believe it is ill advised to open fire on a ship you just launched torpedoes at, waving a big red flag alerting 'DD here', and giving them a chance to change direction.

Most of the time I agree with you, but it is sometimes possible to bait people to turn into torps that would otherwise miss.
Average Player with a nice (but not special) game made possible by luck, own greed and players worse than him. 1.) Abandones C-flank with Oster to go torping A-flank while leaving the mates at C without spotting (all of them die there due to that). 2.) Entered B (with Oster) from enemies side. A decent Lushun would have outspotted and killed him there and maybe Oster (was by luck in C). 3.) Going through uncontested B to torp the pushing BBs at A (117k damage). 4.) Going back to B to get radared by spotted Nevsky and to beach in front of a medicre Vermont (that could have killed him when paying attention) = 160k. 5.) Accidently spotting and torping the beached Duncan (200k). Lucky meeting an open nearly dead Yugo and getting a torp on dying Vermont to finish the trick.

Yes, very greedy indeed. He should have gone after Yugumo because it was the most important boat nearby.
i read it as kumming first time...
Just a bunch of muppets and the one guy gets a lucky game because his muppet IQ was a tiny bit higher...
в этой игре все возможно - раз уж ввели такие пулеметные торпедники, одновременно порезав линкоры, типа очень моЩЩные.. Идеал энтой игры - стреляющая "точка" размером со спичечную коробочку, вооруженная скорострельной фугасницей типа "все сожжет"
What is super about it? Torpedo reload seems to be the only gimmick, all the other stats are average to bad
