I figured that a video tour like this might be inspiring for those looking to get into the airbnb and hip camp glamping and rental world with tiny houses, cabins, cottage, and shacks. This cabin, dubbed "The Shanty", is one you can stay in out in Montana and it was built for very little- most of the wood being self-milled from the site itself. With that location and those views...I'd be happy with a tarp and a few sticks! :) Nice spot, and more than enough for a great stay.
Excellent, except for the bookcase ladder. I’d opt for something a little more sturdy & solid. But what a cool place!!

I know- talk about an amazing spot for a tiny house!
I think that Eva Zu Beck stayed there last year when she first got her puppy Vilk. Cool place.

@aadmonk You are correct - Good eyes / memory / detective work. She has stayed with us several times at The Hohnstead over the last couple of seasons. She’s about as nice of person as you’ll ever meet!

@@thehohnstead I have very much enjoyed following all of her( and Vilk's) adventures. I recognized the place from your tiny A frame videos on YT. My dream is to build my own tiny homestead/get away one day..

I'm a fan of the combo- lots of natural wood, but with one highlight wall of color- but to each their own. The paint DOES brighten up the space though- which perhaps is what they were going for given how small this place is
