We were also missing 1 or 2 of our safeties, that’s why they had to call in Weddle who was literally retired for 2 years and came back just to play the last week of the season not expecting to stay until the Super Bowl and actually win it.

I feel like people are not giving Stafford enough credit for this game. Dude had absolute no run game was down to his 4th-5th string receivers and Tied end…and I just learned watching this video that Van Jefferson got hurt too so he wasn’t reliable…like what?!! dude literally had one receiver and made it happen.. what set the tone on the last drive was that no look pass…what Stafford did was nothing short of astonishing! People don’t realize how it’s almost impossible to come out with a W with the circumstances that the Rams had on the offensive side!

I was a Lion fan through all the heartache. I always felt that if Matthew Stafford had played on just about any other team he would be an acknowledged great QB. So when he was traded to the Rams I followed and am rooting for the Rams now. So happy to see Him and the rams win.

Portland Trailblazer fans felt the same way when Clyde Drexler was traded to the Rockets. He had played so hard for us for so long, and meant so much to us, we all didn't care who he won a ring with. We just wanted to see him finally win the championship he deserved.

Been a Lions fan for over 55 years and I am so glad that Matthew Stafford got a ring... He really is a special talent, and being on the Lions did not help him. Go Rams!

I’ve been a Rams fan since the late 1970’s….The tough heartbreaks in 1979, 1985, and 1989, and the ultimate heartbreak in 1994 with them moving away….It was a long trip for OUR Los Angeles Rams to get this super bowl victory here in Los Angeles. I’m still on cloud 9 with this win 2 weeks after the game.

I can't watch that AD stop on 4th and 1 enough.. The pure elation is incredible.. Watching Stafford the moment he knew they had won the game was also so touching, talk about having to prove yourself, your worth, every second of every game and then finally shutting down those critics.. 34:09 you could see the incredible relief off Stafford's shoulders. The pressure that was put on him all season & the critique he had not being someone that could win a playoff game & had 3 straight comeback wins with the final drive & surgically moved Rams downfield to win that superbowl.

Definitely my favorite super bowls since the Eagle-Patriots in 2018. Everything about this game was great. The tension, the uniform colors, the daytime/sunset feel, the halftime show and stadium design. It's in my top 5 favorite super bowls that I've watched in my short time alive

LA Rams fan since 1979. I remembered Super Bowl XIV and what a bitter loss that was against the then-dominant Steelers. I have much respect for the Bengals, they literally had an incredible season and knocked-off some much better teams to get to that Super Bowl. I think this game was defined by the losing team just as much as the winning team. I respect you Bengals! Great effort. And, of course, a big congrats to the LOS ANGELES RAMS!

The whole defense was the turning point really. When OBJ went down the defense really stood up and made plays and stop after stop. Honestly, AD got robbed for MVP. He made the sack to stop their drive before the eventual Kupp touchdown late, then he made the stop on 3rd & 1 and finally the sack to seal the deal and win the superbowl

Thanks for the closeup! They showed this during the game, too. Face mask on Ramsey at 16:35 gave Bengals 6 undeserved points. Whicxh is okay, because then we got the greatest drive for a walk off score in NFL history. This team is RAMS TOUGH !!!

24:11 All I could think in the 4th quarter when the Bengals had the ball was "Here comes Von Miller!" I was immediately taken back to 2015 and that glorious AFC championship game where Miller kept leaving Pretty Boy scattered across the field. A disruptive force that has to be dealt with every time he's out there. He's not LT, but he causes the same sort of chaos wherever he is on the field. I'd been keeping an eye on the Rams because of Stafford and Sony(GO DAWGS!), and it turned out to be a pleasure cruise once OBJ and Miller were added to the puzzle pieces.

Been around Fan since they drafted Merlin Olsen and Roman Gabriel I believe it was 1962 suffered for a long time in the Georgia Frontier ownership only thing had to look forward to then was the upcoming draft. Go Rams

Best of all, it was a damn good game. Balanced teams, the officiating wasn’t terrible, despite a few missed calls. I’m a Rams fan going back to the Deacon Jones era (and AD is the best defensive player since Deacon). I was not a fan when they left to play in St. Louis. Those Super Bowl wins in the STL era were bitter. But they did it, they won a super bowl as the LOS ANGELES Rams and that is sweet.

I haven’t watch enough of the old school guys but man I just cannot imagine someone being BETTER than Aaron Donald like dude if you wanna say there are others on his level then I can accept that(even though I still couldn’t believe it lol) I just know he’s clearly on a completely different level from any and everyone he plays with and/or against like people that say Aaron Donald is amazing and is the best player in the league are still underrating him😂😂 but seriously he puts up monstrous stats year in and year out while being double teamed literally 3-4 TIMES more than the next closest guy. For example I remember last year I seen Donald was getting doubled around 79% of the time and TJ watt(who I think we all agree is the second or third best defensive player in the league) was only at I believe 14% let’s just be nice and say TJ gets doubled 20% of the time which is a significant jump but still…the disparity between the two is still just ridiculous. Idk how people don’t mention this or make a bigger deal of it because to me it’s absolutely insane like as a rams fan since I was a kid around 05 I’ve known a lot of trash😂😂 but since I am all rams I’ve watched every snap of this man’s career and it’s gotten to the point where it makes it hard for me to examine and grade other defensive players because dude I’m so use to watching this absolute monster of a man lol like when a pass rusher is quiet alllllll night and makes 1 play just once and gets a sack well that’s a great game FOR ANYONE NOT NAMED AARON DONALD. Even when AD doesn’t get sakcs(which is rare) the guy is in the opposing teams backfield literally every other play or every 3 plays to be conservative lol like what he does every game and even on a slow day for him it would literally be like an all time great game for 95% of the other defenders in the league smh idk man I could keep going and going because of how insane this guy is but as much praise and love as he gets I feel like he deserves sooooo much more lol

Also really hoping we bring back Von because my godddd now that they have played together for longer than a couple games they have started to completely dominate every offense they go against so what they would do after an entire offseason together and a full season AFTER WINNING THE DAMN SUPERBOWL LOL could seriously be like all time great. Even at 33 I think Von could potentially have a career best season which means something insaneeee because he’s had some bonkers seasons…but with the attention Donald gets like dude Von is gonna eatttt

The entire season was great. So many teams were balanced this last year. If I recall without goggling to confirm. Every single game beyond the WildCard round including the SB were decided by a FG, with the exception of KC/CINCI who was 4 pts but that was in OT. Rams got the ultimate prize but it literally could have been any team Post WildCard taking that trophy.

I love this team so much dude.

Wait, I forgot the Bengals Beat the then San Diego Chargers in the 1981 AFC Championship Game 27-7 in Sub Zero Temperatures. Okay they 1-0 Vs. CA teams in AFC Championship games but are 0-3 in Super Bowls.

If Tee Higgins doesn't OFPI on that throw to open the 2nd half for a TD, Ramsey either deflects the pass or likely picks it off, he was in perfect position. So at worst (other than how it actually turned out), it would have been 1st and 25 from the 15 yard line.

@@TheAveimperator47 - 'eh, I don't know Higgins is dirty. It's an interesting play to watch. I think at first he was trying to grab Ramsey as if to slow himself down and try to get in front of him. I think he was desperate to make a catch/avoid a pick and once he ran his hand in front of Ramsey's helmet, I think he almost unconsciously grabbed and pulled quickly and then momentum did the rest. It should have been called, but I I don't think it was a dirty play. There were obviously other missed calls, like the Logan Wilson call. This was close to the end of the game so it got all the notice. But as we know holding and PIs can be called on almost every play so the refs tend to let a lot of stuff slide.

I was a Ram fan since childhood. Saw the playoff losses in Minnesota in the snow. Saw Dallas wins. Then the one time Rams had homefield against Dallas in the colloseum it Rained buckets. By this time I discovered a team in Silver an Black. Monster team. Fell in love. I'll always love the Rams. Shoulda won the super bowl against Pittsburgh. Man I hope I live to see a Raider an Ram super bowl bowl before I die. Love the Raiders an Rams. That's the Ultimate super bowl. Raiders brought L.A it's first super bowl. Rams finally did it. It's gonna happen.

I really enjoyed this game, it was weird because I didn’t care who won. Both teams had good stories. But I’m very glad Stafford, Donald and OBJ got rings. Probably most happy for Stafford due to the Detroit decade. Rams have a very good chance of getting back, idk about the Bengals though. AFC is so tough.

I love seeing Wilson commit a costly penalty after talking so much shit all game long on the sidelines. I love watching Wilson cost his team the game after his teammates were getting away with holding the entire second half. After they mugged Henderson the play before. After the refs gifted them a free td to start the half.Instead of being the scapegoat for the loss, the ignorance of the casual fan hurls it at the refs. Rams are the reigning. Defending. Undisputed. What a fantastic victory by the Los Angeles Rams. They had to overcome so much adversity to beat a healthy Bengals team. The route was in until OBJ went down. The Bengals needed trickery and a horrible missed OPI call to score their only TDs. The Rams defense was too much, Stafford and Kupp were too much. Kudos to the Rams on winning a much deserved Super Bowl Championship.
