    49ers just scored a major TD closing in on a 49ers Superbowl win only minutes remaining. Chiefs down 20 to 10. Tyrann walks down the sidelines yelling, I like this !!....I like this !!! I and his teammates thought Mathieu went insane. Actually it was a man that could see his destiny. That is my favourite moment in NFL history.

    @John Carter Totally agree about that 2018 Ravens game. Seeing Mahomes make that conversion to Hill, I just knew the Chiefs were on a different level with Mahomes. They really should have 2 Super Bowl rings, if only for an off sides penalty on the defense. Mahomes is just cut from a different mold. You see him running down the field on his big run play in the AFC Championship, you could see it on his face. NO FEAR, no apprehension, he scrambled and was making it to the end zone no matter what. His face was all business, no closing his eyes on hits, no worrying about taking a big hit, he is a born leader. THANK GOD the CHIEFS have him locked up!!!!

    Seeing the Chiefs bring home the Hunt trophy after 50 years was almost better than winning the Lombardy trophy..... almost... lol. I wish Derrick Thomas could have seen this... This past season is so sweet. Seeing all the old Chiefs players wishing the team well, and rooting for them was great. The Chiefs have has so many great players and coaches over the years. I wish Gunther Cunningham could have seen this as well.

    the dangerous thing about the Chiefs is if you try to outscore them (shootout) they will burn you. If you try to play smashmouth like in their 3 playoffs games (including the Super Bowl) they are patient and will find a crack in the opposing defense. As long as the their defense holds their own against the onslaught of smashmouth football the Chiefs will eventually pick them apart.

    It's not that Mahomes run was incredible, though it was. It's that the game is slower for him. I'm sure people probably don't like the comparison to Jordan but it's similar. His ability to slow the game down, have the confidence to make moves that most players can't make because they can't think faster than everyone else, that makes him special. The look back stall in this situation isn't a move to look back, it's not a juke or spin move. It's a move designed to cause confusion in the opposing player. He's moving in a direction that ultimately leads to a tackle because the defender is too close and too fast for him to escape. Yet the look back causes the player to question what Mahomes is going to do for a split second and that split second is all Mahomes needs to get past what would have been an easy push out of bounds. This wasn't an athletic move, this was a simple look back to nowhere that would have done nothing for him. But it confuses the defender, that's it. The move is amazing but anyone is physically capable of doing it. But only special players have the ability to mentally do it and do it in a situation where pressure is at it's highest point. He IS a once in a generation, maybe once in a few generations, talent. These guys come out of a shell and have no real limit. And that's what makes them great.

The coaching staff let Mahomes down and didn't adjust. Maybe it was Reid dealing with off the field stuff or maybe it was a choke, who knows. Tom Brady is a great QB, for sure. But even going back to his prime, ask me who I want leading my team? I want Mahomes every time.

He seems to have the ability to inspire greatness from his teammates with his encouragement and blameless approach to a failed play, I am impressed by the way he will ask his teammates to use their special skills to help them score.He never faults, and always just says we can do this. His mannerisms says a lot about his parents, Greatness like any fruit never falls far from the tree. His parents seem to have the recipe to grow most the desirable fruit, Kudos to the parents.

    The Chiefs are just damn great. They are some different kind of talented athletes 👏 👌. My home team, the Titans are still struggling to find their way. Tannehill could really use some help. Hopefully with D.Hops on the roster, this could be their year to challenge the Chief's Kingdom for the throne. Im sentimental about my home team. The fact still remains that the Mahomes factor 🏈 is the best , 👌 👍 😍.

  • @susanmaggiora4800

    @susanmaggiora4800

    3 жыл бұрын

    mike shaw But the world doesn’t move in slow motion, you can’t look at it like that. People are trying to make split second decisions. The guy that tried to strip the ball knew if he tackled him, Mahomes would just fall into the end zone, so he tried to do the only thing he could. They didn’t expect pat to turn upfield, they expected he’d get as many yards as he could, then run out of bounds. Him turning to run for the end zone surprised them. That safety coming in tried to take Mahomes head off, he just missed, cause pat spun. You gotta remember, those were CBS trying to tackle, not DEs or LBs.

    What makes KC so dangerous is that if they play a running team, they can stop the run and force the opponent to throw the ball with Mahomes. Or, a throwing team, they have to throw the ball with mahomes. As long as they can protect Patrick, they will most likely win. Patrick is a cyborg and a once in a lifetime QB.. both superbowls they have won..it was against the #1 defense in the league.. again, protect Patrick and he will find a way with the best offensive coach ever.
