As a 34 year old man I never thought I'd be so interested in grass. Came from cleetus, you got a sub.

For me I started watching Alan years ago. Probably 6 or so. Back in the Milorganite days for the OG subscribers. Saw him do the lawn when Cleetus bought the FF. Funny to see two passions come together.

Got your app last year. Wealth of knowledge I am on my way to a more healthier lawn. Saw you on Cleetus 4 years ago.
What you've done with the Freedom Factory is awesome. Love it!😎🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
I came over from Cleetus channel, but I also watch and work in the same field, and this was very helpful info for my job.

I did landscaping in Florida for many years and now live in Michigan. Watching your channel is such a great homesick cure for the tropical varieties of grass that don’t grow up here. I love how the carpet effect works on the st Augustine grass and the Bermuda grass. Love the info! Thanks! Can’t wait to see the freedom factory 2.0!
As a man who loves lawn care and cars, the collabs with Cleet are awesome
AWESOME…Love seeing new varieties. I know the Freedom Factory is going to look fabulous. Hope you’re well. 👍
I remember watching the OG Freedom Factory videos 4 years ago (it hurts to admit that it was that long ago!) and I was delighted to see you on his channel again glad to see things seem to be going well for you and your channel!

Can't lie just subscribe and I am stoked to watch some of your videos once I have more time! You sound well educated and or just understand things very well. I'm excited!!!
Genius! Simply genius! I did Lawn Service & Landscaping for 13 years in Columbus Georgia/ Phenix City Alabama back in the 80's & 90's as a business and you never fail to impress me with your enthusiasm and professionalism! I SOO look forward to the Freedom Factory install and upkeep! Seriously considering redoing my current Floratam lawn with the new Citra Blue St. Augustin cultivore. Great job Brother! As Always, May God Bless you and yours! 😇
Awesome job. Love the freedom factory content!
Hell yeah brother.
You did an amazing job on the freedom factory
Love the cleetus colab videos. Im not that into grass, but I appreciate the info. Great work
*HELL YEAH BROTHER* This is looking great!!!!
My favorite LCN video to date
Cleetus brought me here!!! You two are a great collab and being just a short jaunt down 75, you piqued my interest and got another sub!
Awesome video! So glad you talked about the CitraZoy, we just started selling some where I work and it's a lovely grass. We've also been selling a lot of Citra Blue this year which is my favorite grass. I've got some in my backyard that I keep at 2" and it looks insanely good. I can tell those pallets are really good by how thin the pieces are and how well the dirt stays on it. Some pallets of Citra Blue we get in, the sod is more spongey with dirt falling off, I find those pallets have more dead leaf blades that take a longer time to grow out. Good to hear from Dr. Kenworthy, I'm always looking to gain more knowledge when it comes to sod in Florida. Thanks Allyn!
Really cool looking grasses there. Citra Zoy looks very promising!
Been doing lawncare for 3 years very knowlagable channel!
Thank You for an informative video!
Great job!
Here from Cleeter Mcskeeter good job on the Freedom Factory !
I’m in Florida and our cites zoy in my front lawn and love it!

Ready to see it all striped up!
Terrific video.
i love nothing more then my grass in the summer! im in minnesota so a much different mix but i have a 50,000sf yard 14 zones and 97 sprinkler heads. it a labor of love

Hey from Palm Harbor. Man, that is some beautiful grass! I'm jealous... except you got my St. Aug the envy of the neighborhood... Dang!
Looks pretty cool! The drivers will definitely be targeting running over that green though 😂(also you needa spray some weeds in that flower bed couldn't stop looking at it)
Freedom Factory gonna look Sharp for sure 👍👍
Hunting Billbug destroyed my Zoysia in the front yard, but not my backyard. About 5 years ago. Rented a sod cutter and into the yard waste cans the Zoysia went! Laid down (oh my aching back!) Tall Fescue sod and it was a learning curve at first, but I have it down now. Thanks Allyn! Almost forgot, just threw down some Flagship and some Prodiamine. Looking forward to another growing season. Remember, the more stains the more gains (on those old tenna shoes!)
Wow so many different grasses.. I come here from cleetus channel.......😊...
Love that your doing the freedom again it’s a been a great series and collaboration with the guys 👍🏻 however jh should be paying for some of it as damages 😉❤️👍🏻
GLad you got er done Allyn but will watch you next episode.
Financial planning is like navigation. If you know where you are and where you want to go, navigation isn't such a great problem. It's when you don't know the two points that it's difficult

hey bro, you're never too old to enjoy the mow! My dad is 78 and he loves mowing and fertilizing his lawn!
I was a landscaper for 10 years....ive learned more about grass in 5 videos from Alan then i did my entire time doing landscaping
Nice work keep it up, I wish there was more videos on how pro teams take care of the turf. Hey, can you do a video on what's better, Hydretain liquid or granular? Just a thought for future content.
Hey LCN, love the content as always! Can you tell me which one of these grasses will tolerate the most foot and vehicle traffic? I've always preferred zoysia, but that Bermuda looked GREAT!!
Hoping you’ll cover growth regulators the St. Augustine is taking off and I want to slow the growth down this year so we can keep mowing only once week.
Flag says it all subbed. Living in Europe, and yeah i got one.
I put down 2000 sf of CitraBlue in my backyard last year because about half of the yard gets heavy shade. The only place where the grass survived was in the shade. I put down about 8 squares in the front yard with full sun and they mostly lived. However, one of those squares dies pretty quickly after install and the surrounding CB still hasn't filled in the dead areas. Floritam would've filled it in within weeks. Resodded the dead parts of the back yard with floritam since it does better in the sun and will recover faster from dog damage. The color difference between the two varieties is incredible. i wish I could've stuck with the CitraBlue but didn't want to risk ti.

I gotta think these same grasses would work well in Texas. Our climate is pretty close to the same as Florida's.....hot and humid!!

Which grass would be best for a sandier soil, with light to mid shade. Love the look of the citra zoy!
@Thelawncarenut
4 ай бұрын
for any type of shade, Citra Blue would be the one to go with. All of these can handle the sandy soil, it's more about the shade tolerance.
I live in north east Florida if I’m about to order sod pieces or plugs here and there when I want to replace should I only look in the Citra blue? I
got the app looking forward to a green summer! here from cleeter

I'm sorry if I missed this. Can you explain why the different species of grass at the Freedom factory? Is one going to preform better in that specific area? Or is it just the variation in colour? Thanks!

Ok can we just have cleet come drag through all that grass and see how well it holds up to drag racing ,lol..

Here from the cleetus channel, if I could make one revision it would be a landing strip not a golf course on that straight away. He has that plane and many rc planes that could use it
New home owner in central Florida. Looking into the citrazoy to replace my Bahia grass. Slowly becoming a lawn care nut! They don’t ship the sod to my area but will ship trays of plugs. Is this a feasible swap? Thank in advance, learning so much from the videos!

plugs can take several months to fill in. I think you should call around more and get sod - you're not far from where it's grown in Sebring. Call these guys directly to find some: sodsolutions.com/contact/
Been here for LCN before the Cleetus channel was made
How do we get a quote to install the Citra Blue on an existing residential lot?
Idea for a youtube video. Go to a Bahia sod farm and ask what they recommend to seed bahia and how to properly take care of bahia
I have been looking for a grass that holds up to the weather we have around the Seattle area. Dry summers wet winters some cold snaps where it gets down to the teens.
