I'm so turned off by the TEMU sponsor. I was watching a live streamed memorial service on KZread and their ads kept popping up. I brought it to their attention and was essentially told to go pound salt and that that was KZread's doing. I said, "Dude, but it's YOUR advertising content!! Aren't you troubled by it repeatedly interrupting a memorial service??". They were like a broken record saying "KZread's fault -- KZread's fault!". Technically yea, perhaps. But if I purchased an ad contract and my ads were constantly intruding on the sanctity of a somber memorial service for people's loved ones . . . I'd be on KZread's case SO fast demanding they take responsibility and make it right for everyone affected -- or I'd be pulling my ads and suing for damages to the company's reputation. I will have trouble watching your content with TEMU sponsorships on it. It would be very good for someone to pass this on to Dave and ask if he really wants to be associated with such a company that will just point fingers when their content shanghai's such a somber event.

midway through, yes Viton would be the right material. HDPE or whatever the basic version is can swell under absorption of oil. I'm referencing this to a farm sprayer that has poly housings with o-rings and mesh filters. If you run an oil product and open the filters to clean them the hdpe oring has stretched and will never seal again. Changing to Viton you won't have that issue. Many times for us it was a brown material vs black.

In the case of the excavator everything is contained in the top section except the hydraulic drive motors in the tracks which use a swivel that goes down through the center of the rotation. Even the motor that makes it rotate is in the top pointing down to a gear on the tracks.

From day one wondered about the Howe and Howe Tech ripsaw, brake steering, imagine if you will one caliper being required to slam to a stop multi ton tracked vehicle with the drag of one track, the forces applied to the drive shaft, all seals slammed on to the output shaft, I imagine the "stunt" turning and stopping is really really bad for the steering system, wondering if they sheared or bent the caliper bolts too.

I can't believe they had it apart and didn't replace the couplings

Where do you think most of the shit you buy is made? Hell, some of the F35 is manufactured in China. Or at least it was. Supporting local is cool and all, but China didn't steal manufacturing from the USA, the USA pushed it there because consumers wanted cheaper stuff. You all thought you were clever taking advantage of lower wages/costs but then China was able to accelerate its manufacturing capability and reverse engineer. They didn't just reverse engineer American stuff either, they did it to the Russians too. Not saying they are saints, but maybe do some research into your own countries historical actions globally first. Look at the continuous shit storm in the middle east, do you think those countries or geopolitical boundaries were always lime that?
