Maine - American Tier ★ battleship. In this hypothetical development of the Montana-class battleships, the number of 406 mm guns could be increased to sixteen by replacing the three-gun turrets with four-gun ones. While four-gun turrets were initially proposed for battleships of the North Carolina class, they were, however, equipped with 356 mm guns. If the goal were to enhance the firepower of the Montana-class battleships without utilizing a larger caliber, opting for four-gun turrets would be the most logical choice.

More than the gameplay itself, I'm shockingly impressed a game without a single sub or CV in it was allowed to exist in 2024.
A hell of a game! Congratulations! And a prime exmaple of the enemy team snapping defeat form the jaws of victory. :)
More than an example of what Maine does, this battle should be an example of how to lose it when it was already won. The desire to kill made us lose the goal, which is to win.

Minus cool points for side humping for so long. I wish tehre was a mechanic to avoid that crap. The ship is a beast though for sure.

It is simple to implement: humping for, let's say 15 seconds, your guns are offline, activated againg when you stop humping.
That dude just sat there and ate torpedoes like it was his job.
Now that is how to drive a Maine!
When WG will stop this race to overpowered new ships ?? 16x406mm - 35s of reload....

Maine is “overpowered” only compared to level 9, like every top-tier ship. Like every level 10 compared to 8. So dont shittalk please

Superships are essentially tier 11. Don't compare them to tier 9 or 10 as they were intended to be stronger

It’s kinda feel very weird to see US that comes later of Iowa class Battleships with only single smoke stacks

It makes sense. Had US battleship designs continued, it would've gone the same way as late-war gun cruisers Des Moines and Alaska; smaller superstructures with only 1 funnel to fit additional superimposed centerline secondaries fore and aft that allow for better firing angles and bigger secondary broadsides with less guns.

I’ve noticed something in top-tiers battles, you guys don’t know when to rotate your turrets. Anticipate!!! You re deprived of your rear turrets for 40secs. I thought it was obvious... apparently not for players with thousands of hours on the game

мда... раньше я жалел, что не перешел на евро сервер, но посмотрев этот бой, я понял что ошибался... Боты умнее себя ведут, я не верю, что такие дебилы это настоящие люди... И да блохер, я не эксперт, на маин не играл, но американские лк не качают в пмк у них немного другая фишка...
