    Hey Julie. Amaranth is another name for Callaloo! I grow a lot of it in my garden. You are right about not harvesting the whole plant so it can keep on feeding you. Enjoy your meal and take care.

    Another common name for Amaranth is Amaranthus. Locally Amaranth is called Terere. And Amaranth is also known as Mchicha in Coastal regions. Leo utaona jinni ya kupika Mchicha
