Where do I start? First off, Meggy getting brainwashed was a dark turn, but given the overall style of this show, I guessed something as simple as turning off the music would snap her out of it. Second: The Funky Force is in league with the main villain, who's not only trapped inside an egg shell, but is also named after Benedict Cumberbatch, one of the greatest British actors. Third: The missing member of Funky Force is being held hostage by Benedict, which could be a hint that the Funky Force is doing these things unwillingly, and may yet redeem themselves. Fourth: Speaking of redemption, It's most likely Whisk released the Sput Buds. Seems to me like the shy kitty is her true self. She really doesn't want to be a criminal, but Benedict has offered her a way out of her economic predicament. The mask is the only way for her to do his dirty work without moral issues. And finally: Meggy and Auri will somehow survive the explosion, and since Benedict thinks they're dead, it will give them an advantage in the final battle. By the way, Benedict reminds me of Francis in a way. Maybe it's the very British- sounding name, I can't say. Regardless, one was a deformed chameleon, the other's an egg.

episode four was actually pretty chilling, especially with the twist at the end. From what it looks like, brainwashed meggy is going to fill the place for the fifth as a hypnoslave, and its up to Ori and whoever else cameos this episode to take em down.

i dont think she is gonna be a Fifth member because the funky force said about villains earlier “sometimes those are in short supply…so..we make our own” and the camera panned to meggy but we’ll see

You know no one else said this but the fact the meggy gets hypnotized by the music kinda reminds me of the Octavio fight in splatoon 2 where you have to break Callie from the control of the hypno shades.

Well with Meggy under control the Funkins group it’s up to Auri to Rescue meggy at all cost

Meggy is an Smg4 character so she basically can't die, Ori on the other hand, idk

An egg named Benedict, i see what you did there. While im sure Maggy's headphones arnt noise canceling, seems weird shes still wearing them when getting hypnotized/controlled by music. (a modeling thing im sure but eh, thats just me) So, the plot thickens.

Im imagining this had a completly different title when it was first created

I don't understand how she could be hypnotized, she wears headphones over her ears at all times

I love how they really got the hole squad doing voice acting, even SMG4 :D

5:48 the detail of the music goes in tuning with the Megy's hits it's so good

Pretty much anyone with a brain wouldn't dislike before the premiere starts

I didn’t notice this before, but the voice for all four members of the Funky Fource is the same voice as Lamar and Dr. Sheridan from Meta Runner, which is probably one of my favorite details!

I just came to realization that Lamar from meta runner has the same VA of these funky dudes and its funny how now you can feel his personality radiate, from tari to now meggy
