For anyone who's been around since the early days, you can easily tell how far things have come for SMG4. I still remember first subscribing back in 2013 and indulging in those shorter machinimas/bloopers/YTPs, whatever you want to call them from that era. Every time, it'd bring a smile to my face. I still remember watching the early Ssenmodnars, and even today, those never get old. From humble beginnings to how far things have gone, this is beyond amazing to see. From being able to witness how the Supermarioglitchy4 brand has grown, it warms my heart to see this year's edition of WOTFI be so high quality. Keep doing what you do, and continue putting smiles onto everyone's faces.

Okay, after rewatching some of the arcs, I think I see why Lawyer Long wanted to sue SMG4 and his friends. My theory: Back from the Genesis Arc, his backstory reveals us he was crashed into the Mushroom Kingdom with his USB; his USB is what caused everyone to go insane. When SMG4 met Mario, they quickly hit it of right away. Probably since SMG4 was ignorant of his USB, everyone acted out. The more videos SMG4 posts, the more friends he gains. Now get this: Lawyer Kong could have been aware of how many differences SMG4 made to everyone. Since he is unaffected by the change, he is planning to sue SMG4 out of the Kingdom. And his friends? Some of them come from the Mushroom Kingdom and side with SMG4. If Mario and Meggy had not helped SMG4, they may have been expelled from the Mushroom Kingdom, or worse. To summarize, SMG4 focuses not only on copyright infringement, but also on changing everyone's behavior. But hey, that's just a theory, a GAME theory!

For context, _“War of the Fat Italians”_ is an event that normally starts off with Mario & SMG4 fighting/arguing with each other, only for X to settle the score by giving them challenges from the viewers- and then ending it with a rap-battle to determine who won. (The rap-battles started back in WOTFI 2015, though.) The comedic novelty really _has_ changed over time, hasn’t it? 🤔

This is probably by far my favorite story arc. Even though it shows the end of Pre-Lawsuit Arc SMG4 Design, it's the most interesting and it show true character development for Mario and everyone else. This proves that Mario can be a good person and is very heart warming. Great job SMG4 on this arc! Best by Far!!

Absolutely, Mario has come a long way, since meggys debut was one of the first cases of Mario growing as a character and caring about others, then smg4 surprised again in the saw video with him caring more about his brother, but never would I have imagined in all the channel history that Mario cares so much about smg4 that he is reduced to tears at his loss in goodbye smg4. That tombstone and taking his hat off in the previous thumbnail is serious stuff. Especially hearing smg4 reminisc on old videos together. On a side, I should mention Mario was happy to see smg4 back from Japan in the Mario showdown during the anime arc, was sad to see him deleted in the youtube arc, was gelling well with him in the 10 year anniversary movie, and concerned for smg4 when he almost got corrupted by the anti memes in the revelations movie. But this lawsuit arc is definitely a high point for Mario and smg4 friendship

It used to just be comedy, but they've created plot out of the original chaos, and now there's so much more, including all the other shows they made like meta runner, sunset paradise and now murder drones. I've only been around for a few years but they've progressed so far. I feel kinda proud of them.

I’m really late for this but I liked that everyone collectively hated boopkins’ redesign but also collectively thought Bob’s redesign was absolutely perfect

R.I.P Old SMG4 2011 - 2022 will miss you for classic meme when my childhood is down

I didn't know how high this conflict could get, until the rap battle, and even then... THE CLIMAX of lawyer kong and Luigi showing how hopeless the attempt to save his friends, and the intimidation with that gavel, it's a visionary and story scripting MASTERPIECE for something so meme-ish! And how it has throwbacks of the previous three arcs with Francis, Waluigi, SMG3, and Zero, it really does show the flashbacks as fast as the characters appearing in such a nostalgic manner! Amazing arc and even more so with the video itself! I can't wait for the next arc to drop! Bruh who knew being a "dumbass hero with an IQ of 0" would be such a good thing.

The only positive thing I can say about the WOTFIs we have been getting lately is that they're getting better in graphical quality but apart from the looks of the WOTFI the actual quality of them have been decreasing and are very dissapointing now. WOTFI used to be a fun war between Mario and SMG4 which were hilarious but now it's literally the entire cast mostly vs themselves, and the WOTFIs back then used to be more exciting because they were unpredictable from 2014-2018 but now? You can literally tell what's going to happen, good guys and bad guys have a little confrontation and then after atleast 2 minutes they somehow go into a war of unfunny, cringe, boring, effortless jokes, then after 15-20 minutes of suffering from their jokes everything comes back to where the characters left off in the beginning before the 15-20 minutes of unfunny jokes started and they randomly go into a rap battle (the music, graphics, and raps are good but still very predictable) and then the bad guy is defeated. That's literally all there is to the newer WOTFIs, all of it is predictable leaving it to be quite boring when you know what's going to happen. Now before everyone says "That's just your opinion that the jokes are unfunny it doesn't mean it's true" well the thing is it is GENUINELY unfunny like they literally add in dead unfunny memes like big chungus everywhere and make characters' faces a bit stretchy and expect people to go "OMG LOOK! MARIO'S FACE IS STRETCHED A BIT! HAHAHAHAHAHA SO FUNNY!" it is ACTUALLY unfunny. The only people who laugh at those jokes are the people who still find among us memes funny. Another thing they've started to do with the WOTFIs is randomly link them to arcs, for example the lawsuit arc had all this tension and suspense built up in it and then SMG4 randomly decided to mix it with a WOTFI even if it has nothing to do with WOTFI. Doesn't even make sense that it's called "War of the fat italians" if it's about the entire cast instead of just SMG4 vs mario. The worst thing SMG4 tries to do is mock things which people think are "unfunny" which is quite hyprocritical considering SMG4 is just full of dead memes and unfunny shit. If smg4 ever reads this please use this constructive critisism to make WOTFI 2023 less predictable and more climatic unlike WOTFI 2022 which was very easily predicted just like a few other new WOTFIs that came.

I loved when Meggy was singing about the other arcs, really shows how far we've come :)

This hits differently now that Nintendo assets having to be purged from the GMOD workshop and possibly the SFM workshop later on. Hmm... Could always give them redesigns for the rest of the crew, maybe with the help of a certain someone who could also... Televise it. Mr. Puzzles hosting a Fashion show, or at least help them get new looks. With some of them obviously being all "Look.. I know we shouldn't trust him, but if we don't... We will all be erased!" Maybe at first he plans to get his revenge, but over the course of this special... He grows to love their company.

SMG4 has truly come a long way from his animations. From a man who once used to make animated bloopers based on Mario 64 to creating his own cinematic stories just blows me away. For over a decade this man has truly become a icon across the internet for creating Nintendo characters into such interesting scenarios. From Mario doing dumb things, To Luigi always looking after Mario, to Meggy always being the straight man, and of course having an interesting story with Melony SMG4 has brought us so much fantastic stories. Man I can’t believe SMG4 predicted Nintendo signing a DMCA against G-Mod

Wow did not expect those changes. Bob and Boopkins showed up a whole year before even Meggy showed up. And now they have new designs. The biggest surprise though was Smg4 changing his look after all this time. It's going to be strange having only one mario shaped person running around but I guess it's kind of overdue for Smg4 to have his own unique character model. Still this feels like the start of a new era. Can't wait to see what comes next. That rap battle was also a good reminder of the crew's greatest triumphs over evil but also of everyone we lost along the way. Also Meggy's new voice actor did awesome in finale. Both voice actors have done great work in the finale's of the WOTFI'S.

It's going to take some getting used to the new designs, but... this Arc was so magnificent (and kind of realistic, I'd say) that I turn a blind eye!
