    @charliechan3 ive been to jamaica 4 times and had never been to ricks, always heard people on trip advisor and other sites say its an overpriced tourist trap and not cultural and all this other crap. i actually had a good time there. it is on the expensive side for jamaica but not really any worse than a bar back home. the atmosphwere is cool, sunsets are beautiful, watching the divers is fun and jumping is a blast as well

    I did this cliff dive. My bathing suit, what there was of it, went down to my ankles. A must see at Negril is sunset at Rick's.

    @rulesforrebels That is some perception of the other parts of the Island, but truth is no one troubles a tourist here. Go out and have fun but like everywhere else you just have to be careful.

    Yeah, we went there a couple of months ago. I did that jump and broke my bloody rib! I can just about laugh about it now without the added excruciating pain! Nah, it was great and, believe it or not, I'm glad I did it. Having said that, I'm not sure blokes that are pushing fifty should have a crack at this!!! There's no fool like an old fool, eh? LOLLL P.S. The beer was of great benefit after that...much better than intensive care! lol

    Enjoy its a great place, not a good idea to jump a lot of people get serious injuries, be nice if you thought of Luke my grandson he died 2years after that video at only 17.

  • @Qunchyy
    @Qunchyy12 жыл бұрын

    No disrespect to anyone who has been injured but I don't see the big danger of this place. I am going to Negril in May and plan on going to jump without a doubt. I live in Maryland and go cliff diving 20-25 times a year into a local river. It is just as high as Rick's and the water is the same depth. Perhaps these people who are getting injured should not be trying something like this out of their comfort zone, that is why they are getting hurt.
