The prophet was intelligent enough to know that chaos would break out if he did not chose a successor. He did a 2-3 hour long speech in ghadeer after his last visit to mecca and in that speech about his duty to god he asked the 100k people three times if he (muhammed) is their moula. And then he said if i am your moula(master) then ali is your master. Later his corrupt companions claimed he forgot to choose a successor and that by moula he ment "friend".

At the time of Ghadeer people around Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) already knew that Ali (pbuh) was a close friend of Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) and after his announcement many came to Ali (pbuh) to congratulate him including the first caliph Abubakr (pbuh), so it wouldn’t make sense for the prophet to make an announcement gather everyone around him and tell everyone that Ali was his close friend and that’s it

It does make perfect sense if you had taken your time and read the context. What does not make sense is Allah's rasul(pbuh) instead of declaring Ali as his successor on top of mount Arafa, with almost all the Muslims gathered there, he chose to do it in Ghadir Khum, on the way back from Makkah when at least half of the Muslims had scattered? The sunni narrative makes perfect sense. People bothered the Prophet(pbuh) about Ali's actions in Yemen prior to Hajj. On the way back from hajj the blessed Prophet(pbuh) rested on Ghadir Khum and took the time to defend his cousin Ali(ra). Hence, why Ali(ra) was confused when people said you are our Mawla and Ali replied "How am I your Mawla when all of you are Arabs?" Meaning, he understood it as a term between master and slave and not as a successor to the prophet.

Islam is the Worlds fastest growing religion via converts 70-80% of converts are women between the ages of 25-40 years old. Let's see these hypocrites try and blame this on "spreading by the sword" BS. The more lies people try and spread the more people investigate and see the truth for themselves. The “Spread by the Sword” thing is indeed true and it’s not just Islamic warlords and kings who have done it. It’s pretty much every religion and culture that has ever existed. If your neighbour is more powerful than you, conquers your lands and rules over your people, eventually your peoples culture and ideologies change. This is the reason why, for example, the America’s are predominantly Christian. Had the Indians colonised the American continent, Americans today would be predominantly Hindu. Had the Spanish reconquista not been so successful, the Iberian peninsula would still be predominantly Muslim. I’m just giving a couple of the hundreds of thousands of examples of how conquered lands eventually convert into the lands of the conquerer.

Ali did not have a problem with Abu Bakr being the leader after the death. Abu Bakr was the prophet's dearest friend and eventual father-in-law. Ali respected him and did not oppose him. This divide isn't really necessary this early.

He could be Khalifa from the start but he wanted to preserve Islam and the ummah from early destruction with Roman and Persians around. I feel sad to see sunni brothers putting lies saying a jew created shia Islam or other lies which only create division. I choose to live by my Imam Ali way and have patience and love for Islam and Allah and his messenger.

Ali ibn Abu-Taleb (Imam Ali) is the first person who accepted Islam, not the second. During the last time prophet Mohammad was on the way back from Mecca to Madine, on a place which called ghadire khom he stoped and told the Muslims who followed him that Ali is my successor, those who followed me, should follow him after me. This is why Shia muslims believes Imam Ali is the true successor after prophet Mohammad. I just don’t understand why Sunni Muslims don’t care about ghadire khom.

the response to your last query is because they believe the shias fabricated everything, infact, there was no such thing as shias or sunnis, but to create a divide in the muslim community much later on after the 4 rightly guided caliphs' times, did the transgressors finally emerge with their fabricated hadith and made-up religion and started to call it's followers as shias, these people weren't given any chunk in the power shared by the authorities before the abbasid caliphate and were severely persecuted by the remaining muslims so it comes as NO surprise that they decided to bring new ideas into an already formed religion disrupting the solidarity of muslims

Small tidbit of info. In Ghadir Khum, the prophet was in the middle caravan. He called back the people who left earlier, and waiting for the people who left later to gather as many people for the sermon. Now if you want to assume that he did all that work and waiting in the sun just to let people know Ali (a.s.) was their "friend" after Ali (a.s.) was present during the entire lifespan of Islam up until that point, being the first male convert to Islam. He was also appointed as the Prophets brother in Medina even though they were both Meccan (the prophet had asked meccans and medinans to appoint each other as brothers and sister to take care of one another and promote unity). He was also the only one who spoke in defense of Muhammad (pbuh) when he presented Islam to his Qurayshi family. He was the one who dared fight one on one even when paradise was promised win or lose during the Quraysh. Yeah that dude that everyone already know was Muhammad's (pbuh) friend, yeah the whole caravan was stopped, some brought back, some waited for, just to you know remind everyone HEY GUYS THIS DUDES MY FRIEND DID U KNOW. Also totally makes sense that people have their allegiance to him in that event after he was announced as a friend. Why give allegiance to someone other than to you know.... Take them as your leige..........????

Sajjad Soltan why didyt he tell them before, when he was in makka, and all muslims were there, why did he announced it only when he was with the swahabas of madinna, because at that point muslims in yemen went their way back and the muslims of madina were going back their way, and saying that the prophet asked people to come back, please tell me how many came back from yemen and other places.

@@atiqaly6567 tell me why we pray 3 rakat of maghrib and 4 for ishaa and I'll tell you the secrets of the prophet as well. Regardless, the manner in which he did it is evident of the purpose. The fact that people gave bayat is evident of the purpose. Why he did it there and not during Hajj doesn't matter in my opinion to be honest. Good question though. I'll ponder on that. But I don't think it's that important.

Sajjad Soltan subhanallah, the reason i asked this, is because there is a reason behind why the prophet swalla Allahu alayhu wasallam stopped at ghadirkhum and said that Ali radhiyah Allahu anhu is his friend, my advice if youre really sincere go and learn the whole hadith as in what happend before the hijja and so on. And please stop lying that the swahabas gave baiyah after that. No one gave baiyah to Alli radhiya Allahu anhu after that. And second if thats really was the message how comes no swahaba understood it that way, please be sincere and look at the evidence i beg you my friend, may Allah give you hidayah

Spot on. But you forgot to add one detail that’s important. After Mohammad dies his “close companions” are having this election and mohammad’s body is not even buried yet. Ali is the only one prepping the body and preparing for the funeral. This is a fact... in all books of hadiths (Sunni and shia) but you’re not trying to be bias in your videos so we get it. The question that arises is how the Prophet Muhammad may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, who is the most knowledgeable of the people ,how he did not appoint a successor for the Muslims after him? Knowing that people have asked him even about how to enter the bathroom, and how to perform ablution many many times , so how can they not ask him about the fate of Muslims after his death? the answer is that they asked him and of course it is impossible that the prophet would leave such an important decision which is who will be the successor of the Muslims after him to the people, but rather appointed Imam Ali who is his cousin, and his daughter’s husband the Lady of the Women of Paradise (Lady Fatima al-Zahra). The evidence is what happened in Ghadeer Khum when the Prophet raised the hand of Imam Ali and said:any one whom iam his leader then Ali is his leader, ((((Allah is my leader (mawla) and I am the leader (mawla) of the faithful and I have superior right on and control over their lives, and Ali is the mawla of those of whom I am mawla, he said it three times ,The Holy Prophet then continued to say: “O’ God, love those who love him, and be hostile to those who are hostile to him”. Once the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his household) completed his speech this verse of the Holy Quran was revealed to him,{Today I have perfected your religion and completed my favor upon you, and I am satisfied that Islam be your religion})))). ■Now as for the Sunnis, they follow people who did not follow the commandment of the Prophet Muhammad may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, and they distinguished between Muslims. Some of the Muslim didnot accept this matter and followed Imam Ali and his family(Shia), and some of them followed Omar and Abu Bakr (Sunni)who didn't follow the Prophet’s commandment. ***Evil Is With Those Who Will Extinguish The Light Of Truth ***

I just wanted to make it clear that Shias did not decide on their own, it was all by Allah swa that the Prophet of Islam be raised by His chosen one, Abu Talib father of Ali a.s and later Ali a.s was raised by Prophet Muhammad saww therefore becomes the first male Muslim! The Ayat in Quran does not mention compainions, but the Familyof Prophet Muhammad saww and that's what us Shi'as honor. " Verily Allah swa desire is to remove blemish from you, O People of Household (Ahlul-Bayt) and purify you with a perfect purification" (33:33)

The word sunni is not following the sunnah of the Prophet(saw), rather is sunnah of abu bakr which is totally wrong.

For your kind information, Sunni and Shias are brothers, yes there is a question on Khilafat and Immamat. Shias followers of immamat and Sunnis Khilafat. Now where is bloodshed come from. There is no difference among Muslims. Our prophet is one, Book of Allah is One, Our Kibla (The house of God is) is one.

kinda similar to how the brand of christianity that the 12 disciples of jesus spread didn't spread wide but the romanized christianity that paul spread 50-100 years later was more popular in the roman world. less of a direct conflict but rather similar in popular alternative view.

I’ll say this for the Shia, they do have a certain sense of style.

It is not about Muhammad's family. It is because Muhammad nominated Ali as his wazeer, with the status of Aaron to Moses without being a prophet. May God bless them all. Additionally the prophet says that he is the most knowledgeable and noble and is the waly/mawla and khalifah of the Muslims in a way that the prophet was. Additionally, Ali's two children are are called two leaders in paradise. Sunni hadeeth also say that the blood family of the prophet would never separate from the Quran and that the prophet let behind these two to guide the Muslims.

Religion was established to oppose injustice and colonialism, if you truly believe that conquering these lands under Sunnism is the divine message of God then you need a new religion. Nour elcheikh. Your question is insignificant. If Mohamed had been the most important person in their lives what makes you think they would fail to bury him ? Of course they buried him. What you don't understand is that the muslim nation was facing a rebellion the moment mohamed died. Without a leader it also faced a power vacuum with no one able to combat the rebellion and no one to fight off evil contenders for mohamed's position. If mohamed's followers did not install a leader immediately the enemies would have attempted to install their own leader. That would have been pretty bad for the muslims. We find that eventually this did happen after the four khalifa's had served their time as leaders. Their demise ushered in the sick demented amayyad tribe later to be followed by the just so sick and demented abbasid mob or the muawiyah's as they were known. Islam would spread under these two dynasties but we have to ask were they spreading islam or were they just expanding arabia. We have to ask this because they were evil. They pretended to be muslim and they expanded their borders by using islam to rally their troops. We see the same thing happening today when we look at terrorist mobs like ISIS who fight for money while pretending to fight for God.

We need to remember why Umar rushed to mosque to take decision of succession. Firstly, there were people who claimed prophecy and people were asking for someone to lead the state. By that time, only way Umar found was to call Abu Bakr and then we know he became Khalifat un Nabi.

Thats why Ali married his daughter to umar and Prophet peace and blessings on him told Abu Bakr Radiyallahu anhu to lead salat. shiasm was made by ibn saba who said Ali is Allah similar to paul who said Jesus is Allah, and tried to change scripture to divide the ummah!

We may differ in a few matters, but our differences are only limited to discussion or debate which can be resolved, not a conflict or hatred, and our differences were merely a political dispute and should not be a theological dispute. Despite this, our ancestors remained united under one umbrella [i.e. Islam] and they shared the same Aqidah because of the Qur'an and the teachings of our Beloved Prophet (ﷺ). We too can unite. ❤️

The issue was that shia don't think logically. They don't think anyone else could be leader other than descendants of Nabi (A.S). So this problem gets its strong view against Caliphate although Ali was Supreme Judge and most important advisor to first two Caliphs. So the real source of divide between Muslims came after death of Uthman. Ali got stuck between demand to execute Uthman's killers and his desire to maintain peace in Islamic empire. His viewpoint got challenged by Uthman's relatives. There is good detail to these particular set events. But I think that's enough for a comment

Ghadir khum was not the only ceremony were he gave hints, before ghadir khom Prophet Mohammad gathered his companions, in his last pilgrimage to Mecca, in what is known as the Goodbye speech, were he said: " I am leaving you with 2 things, if you follow them you will never lose your path again.", after his companions asked him what are those 2 things, he said: ""the word/book of God(The Quran), and my household", what happened to said household, they were all assassinated at the hands of so called caliphs that came from the Ummayad day till the Abbasid. 2. and after the goodbye ceremony wene they were moving back towards Medina, Ghadir khum happened. 3. All Prophets left a successor, which prophet did not leave a successor before, in a ceremony. 4. Ali and his sons had Islamic knowledge unparalleled by anyone else except for Prophet Mohammad, because they were hand taught Islam by Prophet Mohammad himself, Ali was the first Muslim male to accept Islam, Ali have been by the side of Prophet Mohammad from the beginning, he risked his own life to protect prophet Mohammad, and after he got Hassan and Hussein, while other children were playing outside, they were both being taught Islam by Ali and Prophet Mohammad himself. 4. As the person in the video said, while Prophet Mohammad family were busy burying him, some of his companions were already discussing who would be a successor. 5. you claim that Shi'ia Muslims don't think anyone else could be leader than descendants/household of Nabi, yet a lot of Sunni Muslims claim that Abu bakr is the caliph because Aisha married Prophet Mohammad, really contradicting themselves, not wishing to start a fight or anything, but stop with those baseless accusations, and its not that they are the descendants of Prophet Mohammad, its just they are the only ones that had knowledge of Islam and people that you could ask them everything about Islam. 6. Shi'ia Muslims did not pick Ali because he is just the descendant or even picked household of Prophet Mohammad through Ali just because they were descendants, they Picked Ali and his family because at that time, it was only Ali and the household of Ali that were trained in the pure knowledge of Islam, after all look at the history which is usually overlooked of what happened to Prophet Mohammad household through Ali, they became scientists, Judges, Islamic Jurists, they even trained some Imams. 7. What this small narration of events also overlooked is the fact that all 11 descendants of Prophet Mohammad that had the pure knowledge of Islam were killed at the hands of the caliphs that came from the Ummayad era till the Abbasid era, all of them got poisoned, except for Hussein which was decapitated and his head taken to Yazid I for some Golden coins, the killers of Hussein were hunted down and killed. 8. Do you know the reason for the downfall of the Ummayad Empire? wene people found out what Yazid and his ancestors have done to Prophet Mohammad household, a violent rebellion started and every suspected Ummayad was killed.

When you say those were the only ones with knowledge, does it mean that other companions of prophet were not qualified at all? Brother, when you talk of knowledge then Ibn e Masaud was also knowledgeful like Ali (A.S). Indeed Ali (A.S) was "key to city of knowledge" according to Hadith of prophet But His political decision of taking pledge for Caliphate before bringing Killers of Uthman caused trouble for him even when his son Hasan(A.S) advised against his decision to take pledge. The first five rightly guided Caliphs were capable to rule Islamic State and they ruled it in best interest of Ummah. Shia Muslims still think that only descendants of Nabi are capable to rule Islam although Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) told that merit of superiority lies in piety and good action. Indeed household of Prophet were pious. I don't think we are disagreeing.

I am from Bangladesh. Mostly we are all Sunni Muslims. But I don’t like this difference. So little difference is turning us against each other. Is it worth it? NO. I am a Practicing Muslim who follows our Rasul (SM)‘s Sunnahs. That’s it.

there is no concept of sectarism that was political issue [6:159] Those who divide themselves into sects do not belong with you. Their judgment rests with GOD, then He will inform them of everything they had done. [30:31] You shall submit to Him, reverence Him, observe the Contact Prayers (Salat), and - whatever you do - do not ever fall into idol worship. [30:32] (Do not fall in idol worship,) like those who divide their religion into sects; each party rejoicing with what they have. [42:14] Ironically, they broke up into sects only after the knowledge had come to them, due to jealousy and resentment among themselves. If it were not for a predetermined decision from your Lord to respite them for a definite interim, they would have been judged immediately. Indeed, the later generations who inherited the scripture are full of doubts.

This is not an unbiased video.It's the sunni version of events. They didn't invite Ali to their meeting to elect a new caliph because Omar wanted to make Abubakr caliph. Abubakr confiscated land that belonged to Fatima daughter of prophet who was a vocal opponent of Abubakr becoming caliph and Abubakr men in their attack on Ali's home slammed the door in flank of Fatimah which led to her death. Abubakr never punished those men. They physically assaulted Ali and only because a war with heretic tribes was going on and Ali didn't want a civil war on top of it he accepted Abubakr to become caliph. Abubakr also exiled Abazar another friend of prophet for supporting Ali. He died in exile.

Ok I know next to nothing about Islam, please stop me if I got it wrong - Ali is Mohamed's first cousin, right? Fatimah is Mohamed's daughter, right? So to Ali, Fatimah is his first cousin once-removed (or niece), right? The video is amazing but explains very little on how the Muslim world views and treats incest and what the Muslim society is doing to prevent that.

First you should mention that Khadijah in not a widow in Shia tradition Also in Sunni sources Imam Ali was the real First khalifa (successor) chosen by the prophet long before Ghader khom event. that event was one and not the only evidence. but many hypocrites didn't allow this to happen therefore Muslims got divided. قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم لعلي عليه السلام: انت مني بمنزلة هارون من موسى الا انك لست نبيا وانت خليفتي في كل مؤمن بعدي السنة لابن ابي عاصم ص799/800 حديث 1222

@@blakz28 You should be ashamed of your self. You left out our most authentic sources and ran straight to some fabricated hadith. Sahih Muslim 2404 Sa'd b. Abi Waqqas reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) left 'Ali b. Abi Talib behind him (as he proceeded) to the expedition of Tabuk, whereupon he ('Ali) said: Allah's Messenger, are you leaving me behind amongst women and children? Thereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: Aren't you satisfied with being unto me what Aaron was unto Moses but with this exception that there would be no prophet after me? We can clearly see that the Prophet left Ali in charge of the people, just like how Musa left Harun to look after the people after he went to Allah SWT for forty days. And it cannot mean khilafat because Harun died before Musa.

@@blakz28 Your dishonesty is of the chart. The reason I quoted Sahih Muslim was to show you that the last part of the hadith you mentioned (Khalifah) is not original. You are brushing off the most authentic, and running straight to variants which you think supports you Shirki religion. It is well established that the successor to the prophet Moses was Yusha bin Noon, so it would make more sense for the prophet to say "You will be to me, as Yusha was to Moses" had he intended to name Ali as his successor. Dishonesty is a trait among you and your forefathers.

Dubbed it in urdu Indian Sub continent has 60 millions of Muslims who understand urdu and 120 millions of other people
