This came out really nice.but I did have a problem with sealing the gulkand.the top was "little" cracked because of that.Other than that it was very nice . Thanks:-)

You can make gulkand at home Ingredients are : Rose petals : 1 cup Sugar : 1/2 cup Elaichi powder : 2 tablespoons Sauf (optional ): 1 table spoon Honey : 2 tablespoons Recipe : Add the rose petals and sugar to a pan and cook it on medium flame for 4 - 5 minutes . Now add elaichi powder and sauf . And cook it for another 3 - 4 or till the rose leaves becomes purple in colour . Now add the honey and Cooke for 5 minutes . Your gulkand is ready . You can purchase rose syrup . It is available as rose sharbat.

Hi! I tried this recipe for plain gulab jamun. Didn't stuff it with anything. But the gulab jamuns have turned out dry, chewy and hard on the outside! Could you please tell me why couldve happened? I put the jamuns into the room temperature syrup immediately after frying
