깊고 진한 소울필을 자랑하는 브라운아이드소울의 성훈. 그가 데뷔 8년 만에 첫 번째 정규 솔로 앨범을 발매했다. 팀 동료인 나얼, 정엽, 영준이 화려한 솔로 활동이 자칭 '어덜트 막내'인 성훈에게 큰 부담이 되었을 법도 한데, 우려와 달리 그의 첫 번째 홀로서기는 성공 그 이상의 결과를 이끌어 내었다.

브라운아이드소울의 음악 안에서 충실한 서브 역할을 해 왔던 성훈. 하지만 스스로를 보컬 그룹의 1인으로 한정 짓기에 그의 음악적 역량은 너무나 크다. 자신만의 색을 간직한 최고의 보컬리스트, 재즈를 넘나드는 정상급 피아니스트, 흑인 음악 전반을 아우르는 다재다능한 프로듀서로서 성장해 왔기 때문이다.
이번 앨범에서는 솔로 활동에 대한 긴 기다림이 헛된 시간이 아니었음을 여실히 증명해 보인다. 흑인 음악 종합 선물세트라 할 수 있는 다채로운 스타일의 향연이 '성훈의 스토리' 안에서 펼쳐지고 있기 때문이다.
편안하게 다가오는 R&B 발라드는 물론, 소울, 재즈, 가스펠, 일렉훵키, 랩, 네오소울, 클래시컬 퓨전에 이르는 다채로움은 성훈의 음악적 스펙트럼이 얼마나 넓은지, 음악을 자유자재로 주무를 수 있는 그의 핸들링 능력이 얼마나 뛰어난지를 증명해 보이고 있다.
하지만 다채로움 만큼이나 중요한 또 한 가지의 점은 그의 유니크한 음색과 리듬감이 그 다채로운 장르의 소리들을 통일성 있는 하나의 앨범으로 엮어내고 있다는 점이다.
보컬리스트의 앨범이 아닌 정상급 프로듀서의 퓨전 앨범처럼 여겨지는 완성도 있는 앨범. 또한 워낙 깊고 독특해서 대중성이 약했던 그의 약점을 멋지게 극복해 낸 앨범. 성훈의 '소울 인베이션'이 시작될 듯 한 예감이다.
슈프림팀 이센스가 피처링한 선공개곡 'Fail In Love'에서도 경험했지만 이번 앨범에서 가장 두드러진 특징은 '콜라보레이션'이다. 과감하게 래퍼와 조우하여 함께 리듬을 그렸으며, 듀엣곡 '그와 그녀'에서는 본인과 더불어 국내에서 가장 독특한 음색을 자랑하는 정인과 입을 맞췄다. 한솥밥을 먹고 있는 후배 뮤지션 '아이 투 아이'와
함께 한 '언제까지나' 역시 주목해야 할 곡이다.

라디오를 많이 듣다보니 이거 발매때부터 즐겨들었었죠.. 이거도 진짜 역주행 올꺼에요
몇달전 마크툽 marry me가 역주행 했었다.. 한 3년전부터 이 노래를 알고 있었던 나는 충분이 이 곡도 사람들에게 알려지면 역주행 가능한 곡이라고 본다 성훈행님 꼭 자기 음악 꾸준히 해주시길..!

Song is over 4 years old and still very underrated, how can it not get more recognition?! Sunghoon slayed the hell out of this track.

good song :) hes better without the facial hair .
He has an incredible voice. The dancing wasn't that bad. Problem is they tried to stay with one theme but lost the focus. I can see what they were trying to do but they did not accomplish it. His large, mirrored sunglasses were distracting. The male dancers, if the stylist would have given them less formal clothing, it would have given the video a completely different feel. The girls just did not fit in, especially with the 60's style and hair.

mv was good but he shouldn't have had dancers just let it be very solemn. it has a nice message to it. the dance pulls away from the message. but if you wanted to use dancers that's ok but the concept of the video should then be changed. oh and let the dancers know not to sing the song whilst they are dancing:P. but overall he has such a soulful voice.
