Sunflowers took over our Rattlesnakes' Enclosures!

Whelp, this was an unexpected development while we were out of town... evidently, sunflower seeds were mysteriously "planted" in our rattlesnake enclosures, and took over!

In a previous video it was mentioned they couldn’t touch stuff in the enclosure because rattlesnakes shed their teeth, Emily pulling the plants with her bare hands made me nervous

This video is actually a great showcase of how animal behaviors help to perpetuate their ecosystems. Squirrels storing their food help to spread the vegetation, kind of like birds feeding on berries and spreading them via droppings.

Having watched many varieties of sunflowers come up wild under our birdfeeder, i can safely say you are gonna be overwhelmed by how fast and big the number of sprouts you left grow. 😅 waiting for round 2 of this video series

Squirrel: you like herping? How about I make you go herping in your own enclosures for venomous snakes!

I can't tell whether "Where are my rattlesnakes?!" is a great title for a children's book or a terrible title for a children's book.

... Anyone else freak out when she ate the Sprouts? Like.. I hope to god she washed them off at least. Snakes can drip their Venom and or lose a fang in their enclosures.. Emily is just going in bare handed and eating it.. Wild.

Today I saw a sign that the 19th and 20th of April at the Highland’s sports complex there is a reptile expo. Can you please come, because I really want to see you guys and it’s in my home area. Please like so it can be top comment.

Since that bag of dirt is likely still full of the sunflowers you could get tray planters and grow mats of the sprouts. Might be a good foraging exercise.

OMG EMILY! THE BOOKMAGE HOGNOSE ON YOUR BLUE T-SHIRT IS MY HOGNOSE YUMA!!! I commissioned the artist Daft Patience to 'lizard wizard' Yuma and as she loves to sleep in the bookcase, I suggested making her a bookmage XD

Hey! I recommend using a watering can with a thin closed spout! That way, you can open the door less than an inch and full the water bowl! Easy peasy!
